i used to hear Jennifer Lopez's version of this song at a Country-Western bar i used to go to and they played JLo's version every now and then for a line dance called "Mambo Shuffle" ... which they also played Madonna's dance mix of "Don't Cry For Me Argentina"...which was the song i learned the dance to...but then after Gloria released the CD "Gloria" one of the DJ's started playing "Oye"  for the dance...and to me that's the ""definitive"" song for the line dance...Gloria Rules!!!!

Gloria did an amazing version of this song, probably cuz she was the one who wrote it but I do think Jennifer did a better job with the song. Jlo will never compare to the likes of Gloria, Celia & Selena though.

@kouldeliee J. Lo is a horrible singer and a mediocre actress at best. She's can't sing if her life depended on it! How dare you say she's better than Gloria!  Gloria is the Queen of Latin Pop and her voice is always warm and passionate, unlike J. Lo!

Algo similar ocurrió con su disco "Gloria" (el cual tiene un arte muy similar a este por cierto).. con la canción "Lucky Girl" seguidamente Thalía en su albúm "Arrasando" versionó la misma canción llamada "Suerte en mí" ambas versiones sonaban bien, igual que esta y la de JLO.. es mi opinión..

Esta es una versión más latina que la de Jennifer, pero la verdad es que la voz de Jennifer estalla la voz de Gloria en esta. Además, la que salió a la fama fué la de Jennifer por eso le bajamos puntos adicionales al escuchar esta...De todas maneras del albúm completo me gustan todas menos esta y WEPA. Felicitaciones Gloria, siempre te he seguido; este cambio está tremendo!
