In case you are too stupid to realize this, if you look really closely at you computer screen, you can see tiny little squares that make up everything you see on your monitor. Those are called pixels. 3d means "three dimensions" as in "length, width, and height".

Voxel means Volume Pixel, It's just square after square to form larger maps and smaller amounts of filesizes, rather than having polygons and making 3d models, It's pretty much the minecraft method.
