The powder is just awesome over there then you come back to aus and it's just shit. Theres no comparison but i still love Perisher and aussie snow!! Anyone who says you guys suck just doesn't know how to have fun! Sure you're not the best skiers but you guy were having a blast!

It could be worse, Australia could be all desert. I have heard Japan is awesome, maybe one day! Jindy is 1.5hrs from home, I can't complain about the distance I have to travel and the money it costs to get to perisher.
This year its pretty gnarly but i have to admit Europe is the shit. I've been living here for a bit and the snow is amazing and the off piste too. Ski verbier or a place like that and you'll see

Ah Perisher Slushy and grassy one day, icy the next. Australian snow its a shame. I just save up and go overseas now. Japan = Best powder
