  • I'm actually going to school in Joliet and a few weeks ago when my dad came to pick me up to go home for the weekend we went and found Old Joliet Prison where Jake stayed. We drove by it (since you're not allowed inside of it), looked at each other and went, "We're on a mission from God". You boys did a FANTASTIC JOB!!! You were absolutely AMAZING!!! Great great work!!!! I felt like I was watching the movie again!!!

  • Solomon Burke, a soul music pioneer and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee whose songs blended soul, gospel, country and R&B, has died. He was 70. Burke died early Sunday He was scheduled to perform in Amsterdam on Tuesday. Burke's biggest hits include his first single, "Cry to Me," and "Everybody Needs Somebody to Love," 1964. recorded by the Rolling Stones, most famous for its use in The Blues Brothers, starring Dan Aykroyd and John Belushi. Dirty Dancing also popularized "Cry to Me," RIP

  • @chevy662: ...and a coke. ;D

  • @chevy662 Elwood always eats four whole fried chickens & a Coke & Jake always eats dry white toast.

  • @TheLegendfamily wrong way around

  • @Goldleader727 You are correct: I was trying to keep the actors straight w/their characters & got it the wrong way round by mistake.

  • 'Elwood' was brilliant with his 'you you you' backing track!!!

  • einfach cool !!!!

  • I LIKE IT!!! except the trumpets dont know what the meaning "press box" is... but thats just my band side talking... overall i love it

  • This is pretty good, the Elwood Guy sounds just like Dan Akroid

  • HAHA! Love it that you did it with a live band! Most people would lipsynch. And way to wail on the harp, Elwood.

  • quality.

  • cool, the blues brothers rocks!

  • can anyone tell me what the name of the song is where that opening organ riff comes from? I have heard it in another song before but don't recall the title

  • @aalynch30 everbody needs somebody (to love)

  • The song is called Can't Turn You Loose by Otis Redding, aalynch30. If you watch the Blues Brothers movie, the guitarist with the long hair and beard is Steve Cropper. He co-wrote the song with Otis and was his partner along with the bass player, Donald "Duck" Dunn. Their band was called Booker T and the MG's and they also recorded an instrumental (and top ten hit) called Time Is Tight which is very similar to Can't Turn You Loose. It's here on youtube. I'm sure you will like that song also.

  • Well done guys. Huge blues brothers fan and that was really done well. Sorcerer666 is a jerk.

  • Elwood's sideburns weren't that huge. They are more Jake's style. Also he needs to play harp in the blues style. He is playing it folk style. Plus the Dan Akroyd moves are way off.

  • he's a really good singer

  • a musica é maravilhosa de mais

  • That presentation really made an impression on me. Particularly the magical music was fantastic. Greetings from Finland!

  • So am I. Greetings from Finland. Wow.

  • Man, i'm damn impressed!

  • MAN these guys are FANTASTIC! The kid on the right had Belushi's moves down PERFECT!

  • @Research0digo I think you mean the kid on the right had AKROYDS moves down.... Belushi is Jake, not Elwood.

  • WOW! AWESOME JOB!
