omg please everyone stop arguing over whether this is parkour or not or whether their technique is sloppy. this is one dicipline in the military pentathlon, the obstacle course. Those are Military athletes, so they have nothing to do with freerunning or parkour. Their only goal is to run this standardised obstacle course as fast as possible and there are annual championships since 1950 so it has started way before parkour was practised (1980s).

FYI: the obstacle course is one out of five disciplines in the military pentathlon (which also constists of: obstacle swimming, shooting, grenade-throwing and a crossrun). So in fact: These are soldiers (otherwise they aren't allowed to compete, that's what the rules say.

Remember, there are NO RULES in parkour, therefore translating from french to english: FREE RUN. "Parkour can be freerun, freerun cant be parkour"
