FOX is the biggest mediator of American Propaganda, so biased. America is a police military state, and we have no freedom of speech. Other countries see it, but we are blind.
One day they'll be playing bagpipes for that fat bastard Pike (that is, if dead security guards get the bagpipes routine). And I'll be sure to knock a few cold brewskis down before I visit his grave, if you get my drift.
Faux News would back someone who claims that people are innocent because they "obeyed orders." If you're ever in a concentration camp, Mr. O'Reilly, I hope one of the guards tells you to kill a child. You tell me how innocent you'll feel for "obeying orders." No, it's not different, you are acting without a conscience. Just like these cops. They may have felt surrounded, but they are EXPECTED, as part of their job, to remain calm under pressure. Act within reason.
That is a school, not a place for demonstration, they were asked nicely. They refused. They warned them of the consequences. They still didn't move. The cops were ordered to get the protesters out of the way. Would you have preferred them to be beaten with batons? The fact of the matter is that they are uneducated on how America works. If they want to be open to everything, and don't believe in rich people, they can just move their asses to rural africa and try and find a job there. Case closed
@GangstaAssasin1 The Cops WERENT ordered to remove them The Chancellor of the University said in the Sacramento Bee that the Police were going against her wishes by forcefully removing them They were instructed to remove tents and equipment peacefully and not do it if there were too many students. Not moving is NOT resisting arrest Batons and Pepper Spray are weapons and should only be used if the officer is in danger this guy was not in danger.
Pepper spray is a food product. You want this crap on your eggs in the morning?? 500 lbs of startled black bear high tailed it out of my driveway because of this "food product." He got up on a hill a safe distance from me, and.....I felt sorry for the poor creature. He was snorting and panting and I felt awful. He survived, but I would never spray him again. I saw people sprayed in NYC. That stuff was stronger than the spray used in this video. None of it is as harmless as we re told.
Pretty sure there's more important issues these cops should be handling than worrying about students sitting down on the ground.. then again this is america.. stupid fucks
pepper spray is a synthetic analog of capsaicin thats like 2 million scoville units.. like thousands of times stronger than tabasco. hotter than the hottest pepper ever. just sayin'...
@fantom58 True, but she also trying to defend the protesters from him at points. Trying to criticise his response, which was surprising. But yeah, she's obviously still pretty fucking stupid.
Voted dislike because of the two idiots speaking, not because I feel that posting it is bad. There is very little language that can express the condemnation that I feel in my heart for the actions committed by these officers. These peace keepers. Not really -- have you seen the video -- notice how even after being peppersprayed the protestors still sat thre ( unlike the cops have to phyiscally grab them)

@badpanda84 Allot of the kids had shielded their faces with coats, hoodies and scarfs, many got their eyes washed off right away, and there were some that went to the hospital. If someone there had Asama they could have been in critical danger. The whole thing was unwarranted and not expected to be treated so bullishly. I am embarrassed too often to even admit I live in California anymore.
@swiftyJ88 LOL willpower cant defeat pepperspray -- if it could that a crimincal that was determined to fight the cops would be able to do so even when peppersprayed
Megyn Kelly can't be pepper sprayed...without her face melting off in the process.
btw Megyn, you wouldn't use pepper spray for anything you put in your mouth, and if you watch Pike, you'll notice this was premeditated, and could have made the arrest without OC spray.

Of these two reporters, one talked too fast (with a lot of make-up face) and one looked like he was on drug or didn't had enough sleep the night before. !!!
It is true, that pepper has the same chemicals as pepper spray. It may also be true, that the police have done "nothing illegal", in terms of following a legal guideline. (Although depending on the instructions of use of the spray, the amount sprayed might qualify for "use of excessive force".) Their greatest infraction, however, lies not in them breaking a legal code, but a moral code of conduct. Doing something "by the book" is not always enough for it to be right. Like in this case.
@twlsw Pepper spray is a weapon. Weapons are to be used in situations of self preservation and or defense. People sitting down can be told to move or be arrested and carried (if necessary) to a police vehicle. Refusing to move is failure to comply. Any physically defensive move on the sitters part is resisting arrest. Spray could then become an option. To group spray these people as was the case is immoral and possibly illegal.
@badpanda84 Failure to move (when told to do so) is failure to comply. LEO(s) have the right to carry people from the scene to police vehicles. Lying down, sitting, and/or refusing to walk or cooperate is NOT reguarded as resisting arrest. Weapons (and spray is a weapon) are to be used when an officer (or officers) are PHYSICALLY challenged and their well being is threatened. This didn't happen. Why was a weapon used against non-combative protesters?? The battle ready cops created the violence.
@badpanda84 Usually when protestors are physically removed from the scene, they are handcuffed, given the choice of walking, or being dragged or carried away. As long as there is no physical resistance, and no threat to the officers there is no need to hurt people with weapons. This is what a peaceful protest is all about. The violence is when cops use weapons when it is not necessary. I am not a friend to a very energetic govt. It's always oppressive......Thomas Jefferson.
@ohannahdad these protestors were given the chose of walking or being dragged away --( obviously happend prior to filming)
And yes they where going to be dragged away --( which by the ways is a phyiscal act-- and they would have complained about police bruailty anyway)
What do you expect -- you want to police to physically remove protestors who are not complying yet-- you dont want them to touch any of the protestors.
@badpanda84 I never said that the officers should not touch these people. Read my prior comment again. In order to handcuff a person the LEOs would have to touch them. Holding their arms while walking them away, or dragging them requires touching them. This is not using weapons against non-combative people, and is acceptable proper procedure. It's very simple. Don't use weapons against people who are unarmed and not trying to hurt you.
@badpanda84 These people were NOT handcuffed, and given the option to walk or be carried /dragged away. Their hands were free to wipe pepper spray from there eyes. Dragging them away is maybe not a nice way to remove people from an area, but it is more humane than spraying a substance into peoples faces and eyes. Both ways are classified as "force." Use of a weapon (spray) in this case is "excessive force." Also if you feel there were not enough officers there, then they should call for back-up!
@ohannahdad "Dragging them away is maybe not a nice way to remove people from an area, but it is more humane than spraying a substance into peoples faces and eyes"
Actually that is WRONG -- have you see how the Australia riot police broke up the occupy protest in Meboure -- they literieally dragged everyone single protestor out --
( and people still yelled police bruailty)
Admittly they had about 10 times more police though
@badpanda84 What did the people in Melborne say when the police sprayed those protestors in the face with pepper spray?? Nothing;....because it didn't happen. Civilized law enforcement everywhere has cuffed & walked, dragged or carriied peaceful protestors away and there was never any "police brutality" nonsense. Many comments I have read from Australia accuse the USA of being a police state anyway. When non-violent protestors get pepper sprayed down there, I want to see their reaction!!
@ohannahdad "Dragging them away is maybe not a nice way to remove people from an area"
Reaslsitacally the only way they would have dragged them away is if they used some kind of chokehold ( cause if the protestors linked arm -it would be hard to apply an armlock.
@badpanda84 I have seen many videos of people being dragged from a protest scene. Some by the legs, some from under the arms while in a sitting position etc. I have NEVER seen anyone dragged away by use of a choke hold. In many cases when the dragging starts;...the protester will then agree to stand & walk. Pepper spray is for self defense, not to make people become obedient to your orders & commands. That is Nazi mentality!
@ohannahdad ". I have NEVER seen anyone dragged away by use of a choke hold"
Really -- bouncers do it all the time -- sure you could drag one or two people away under the arms -- but not a group like that -- it just wont happen.
IN many cases as soon as the police take out there pepperspray -- the protetors should agree to stand and walk
@ohannahdad IF the protestors still refused to move even after the cops took out there pepperspray -- it is highly unlikely they would have agreed to stand and walk if the cops threathened to drag them away
@badpanda84 From your responses I am left with a few impressions. You seem to enjoy the excitement that is generated from cops using excessive force against citizens. You like the idea of "blind obedience" to cops because in your way of thinking;. they are in control, and we must obey. Citizens have no rights. Cops can do no wrong. Cops & bouncers answer to no one for their actions, and you enjoy the cruelty that you think a cop is allowed to use on innocent, non-violent people. SIEG HEIL PANDA!
@ohannahdad "You seem to enjoy the excitement that is generated from cops using excessive force against citizens" I dont acutally consider this to be excessive force at all -- but you are claiming that the cops should have phyiscally dragged them out..
Now that will probably actually be excessive force.
You don't see to be agaist using force agaist protestors -- only certain kinds of force
@badpanda84 The right to peaceful protest has always been a freedom in America. Ben Franklin said "They who would give up essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security." For law enforcemenr to become physically violent (use of weapons) against their fellow Americans for lack of obedience should be classified as a criminal act. Blind obedience is Nazi storm trooper activity. There is no room for this nonsense in America!!

All you people have the attitudes of idiots, The cop had the right to do what he did, would you perhaps rather have been shot and killed like those people in Egypt and Libya. Yes, pepper spray is a food product, and yes it hurts like a motherfucker, but seriously people, learn your fucking rights so you dont get your ass peppersprayed
@GangstaAssasin1 Pepper spray is a weapon. Weapons are to be used as a matter of self defense only. A sit in is a civic violation (if even that) or violation of a local statute or ordinance (if even that) I question whether or not it's either legal or moral to pepper spray young people sitting down. If someone has a respiratory problem, this stuff might not be as harmless as we are told. These cops were not threatened or in any danger except for their ears from hearing "shame on you."
I read this once: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
if the protest becomes violant or if they block a public entrance police have the right to take action i think it is all fine to share whats on your mind until you start surounding police they feel what the hell and take action there is nothing wrong with that but i love the liberal comments fuck this fuck that showes how edjicated these people are
no way you mean they used watered down pepper spray when they were surrounded by hundreds of people that looked like they were going to attack their small group of POLICE OFFICERS, it passed being their job to clear out illegal protesters to self defence... but wow those are teenagers and young adults in the first few years of college not even real life yet, but you know what they are so smart and experienced they are probably right...
u can say whatever u want but anonymous will take action for this!!! btw arent news anchor's supposed to be neutral? or is it just me thinking she isnt't
@bachmann4president "All the hot women in America are Conservative. I'm proud of my party"
Could it be that conservatives tend to judge people more superficially, so they'll vote for/pay attention to a female because of her external appearance rather than intellectual capacity? That's equivalent to choosing your new car because its red and it looks fast, without bothering to look under the hood.
@Kalebfenoir From what i saw, the pepper spray was not that bad. If it was as bad as you seem to think it was, they probably would have gotten there asses off the pavement and ran/walked/crawled off. No one forced them to sit there and get sprayed.
On a second note, if riot police show up to your protest and you don't comply with there orders, expect to get injured in some way shape or form.
@fantom58 You have the attitude of someone who has allot of opinions and is happy to shout them in peoples faces but bitches when someone responds with something other then words.
If your opinion is not worth being punched in the face for, keep it to yourself.
Megan: There's some it even show them resisting arrest. Where the cop goes to grab one of the students and you can see she's pulling her arm back she's not letting him grab her.
Me: No shit sherlock, what would you do if someone tried to grab you?
Li'll old Gawd-fearing Bill O'Reilly and his co-fundamentalist sidekick.
Why don't I believe a shit of what they're saying? I loooove the States, but I thank the day that I was born in Holland. Where students can protest without risking a quantanamo bay-like attitude from the police.
If this is defined lawful the FFFUUUUUUCCKKK the police. THIS SHOULD TOTALLY BE AGAINST THE LAW! WHAT ABOUT OUR RIGHT TO ASSEMBLY, OUR RIGHT TO PROTEST! FIGHT BACK RISE AGAINST OUR CORRUPT GOVERNMENT TAKE OUR AMERICAN RIGHTS BACK TAKE THE POWER BACK THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN BELONGS IN MAN, NOT ONE MAN, NOR A GROUP OF MAN, BUT IN ALL MEN. RON PAUL 2012 WE ARE LEGION WE DO NOT FORGIVE WE DO NOT FORGET RESTORE AMERICA KILL SOPA AND PIPA FREEEEEDOM
Bill O'rilly needs about 5 seconds in the face with Mad Dog 13% Capsium and lets see if he doesn;t 'stutter' a bit the next time he tries to justify police abuse .
@TheGregiry The "peaceful" protestors trapped the police, refusing to let them leave and after countless warnings delivered to them both as a group and individually, they refused to allow the police to leave the campus. When the police told them that they would be forced to use force, the protestors responded by shouting "FUCK THE POLICE" and still refused to leave.
In my four years of youtube, I've never disliked a video. I told myself "im only going to dislike a video when it TRULY deserves it." And this video (out of ALL the four years of youtube videos behind it) DEFINITELY deserves the dislike button!
Getting tasered? That's a bit like an extreme version of slendertone.

"hey are handcuffed, given the choice of walking, or being dragged or carried away"
So since they obviously didnt walk you didnt have a problem with them being dragged away.
You do realise that dragging protestors away is a phyiscal act -- and that there really isnt a nice way to do it...
Where or not the cops used weapon -- the protestors would still have screamed police bruailty anyway
badpanda84 2 weeks ago
@badpanda84 These people were NOT handcuffed, and given the option to walk or be carried /dragged away. Their hands were free to wipe pepper spray from there eyes. Dragging them away is maybe not a nice way to remove people from an area, but it is more humane than spraying a substance into peoples faces and eyes. Both ways are classified as "force." Use of a weapon (spray) in this case is "excessive force." Also if you feel there were not enough officers there, then they should call for back-up!
ohannahdad 2 weeks ago
@ohannahdad "Dragging them away is maybe not a nice way to remove people from an area, but it is more humane than spraying a substance into peoples faces and eyes"
Actually that is WRONG -- have you see how the Australia riot police broke up the occupy protest in Meboure -- they literieally dragged everyone single protestor out --
( and people still yelled police bruailty)
Admittly they had about 10 times more police though
badpanda84 2 weeks ago
@badpanda84 What did the people in Melborne say when the police sprayed those protestors in the face with pepper spray?? Nothing;....because it didn't happen. Civilized law enforcement everywhere has cuffed & walked, dragged or carriied peaceful protestors away and there was never any "police brutality" nonsense. Many comments I have read from Australia accuse the USA of being a police state anyway. When non-violent protestors get pepper sprayed down there, I want to see their reaction!!
ohannahdad 2 weeks ago
@ohannahdad "What did the people in Melborne say when the police sprayed those protestors in the face with pepper spray?? "
Are you talking about the acutally protestors in Melborne -- or everyone else.
"When non-violent protestors get pepper sprayed down there, I want to see their reaction!!"
Yeah I wish cops could pepperspray protestors in Australia -- would be pretty awesome to watch
badpanda84 2 weeks ago
@ohannahdad "Dragging them away is maybe not a nice way to remove people from an area"
Reaslsitacally the only way they would have dragged them away is if they used some kind of chokehold ( cause if the protestors linked arm -it would be hard to apply an armlock.
And a chokehold is much worse that pepperspray
badpanda84 2 weeks ago
@badpanda84 I have seen many videos of people being dragged from a protest scene. Some by the legs, some from under the arms while in a sitting position etc. I have NEVER seen anyone dragged away by use of a choke hold. In many cases when the dragging starts;...the protester will then agree to stand & walk. Pepper spray is for self defense, not to make people become obedient to your orders & commands. That is Nazi mentality!
ohannahdad 2 weeks ago
@ohannahdad ". I have NEVER seen anyone dragged away by use of a choke hold"
Really -- bouncers do it all the time -- sure you could drag one or two people away under the arms -- but not a group like that -- it just wont happen.
IN many cases as soon as the police take out there pepperspray -- the protetors should agree to stand and walk
badpanda84 2 weeks ago
@ohannahdad IF the protestors still refused to move even after the cops took out there pepperspray -- it is highly unlikely they would have agreed to stand and walk if the cops threathened to drag them away
badpanda84 2 weeks ago

@GangstaAssasin1 Sounds like you'd make a perfect cop in Syria. Send the Assad family your resume.
fantom58 1 month ago
@GangstaAssasin1 Pepper spray is a weapon. Weapons are to be used as a matter of self defense only. A sit in is a civic violation (if even that) or violation of a local statute or ordinance (if even that) I question whether or not it's either legal or moral to pepper spray young people sitting down. If someone has a respiratory problem, this stuff might not be as harmless as we are told. These cops were not threatened or in any danger except for their ears from hearing "shame on you."

Could it be that conservatives tend to judge people more superficially, so they'll vote for/pay attention to a female because of her external appearance rather than intellectual capacity? That's equivalent to choosing your new car because its red and it looks fast, without bothering to look under the hood.

On a second note, if riot police show up to your protest and you don't comply with there orders, expect to get injured in some way shape or form.
