I am so glad I never saw a trailer for this movie before I saw it. Those idiots at Morgan Creek who made the trailer should be fired. You can't bill a movie as a "horror" then give away the main twist of the story!

I liked this move, overall, but as I've noticed with most movies lately, the beginning is very slow and dragged out then the end moves too fast and is not satisfying in the way it was wrapped up.

I can give you a rate, its been rated as one of the worst horror movies ever made. The director didnt want his name under it and the leading actors Didnt want to promote the movie eighter. The end result was so sad and confusing that the viewer never been able to watch the full movie. The first half is a sad cliche horror wich we seen a 1000x times the second half is making the horror so unscary when they put in this sort of dream vision and make the movie completely senseless. The movie sucks.

This is my interpretation of the movie: the whole story in the movie is just a plot in the book and actually never happened. And that he created his characters in the book based on some real people in his life. His real name is Peter Ward and he is a book writer. At the end of the movie,everything is explained when he sees his book as a #1 bestseller and displayed in the book store.

@SmileMissions Yes, this movie is excellent!Lots of suspense.I'm a pretty harsh movie reviewer,so I don't say that every film that comes out to the screens is "excellent/good/acceptable". But this movie was very entertaining, and had very interesting twists. I definitely liked it and would recommend it to anyone that likes suspense movies. I guess people don't seem to enjoy it because they go to see it with the idea that this is a horror movie, when in fact it's not. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
