Ibnu 3Othaymeen (rh) But if a man comes to us and sings anaasheed that have a sound meaning, and which do not include any nonsense, and uses his voice only with no musical instruments, there is nothing wrong with that. Hassaan ibn Thaabit used to recite poetry in the mosque of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him).

Rythmatic in the sense it sounds like the instruments... did the sahaba and tabein sing nasheeds without a type of rythem...? also innovation means something not from the deen then made a part of it
one of the sahabas used to sing poems to the prophet i think the sahaba is called hassa'an bin thabit may Allah hav mercy on him , therfore it should be allowed
You should look at what the salafi mashaykh say, not what the people say. Same as with islam, look at Kitabu Allah and sunnah, not at the muslims themselves.
That means that a great fitna comes from the state scholars of Saudi Arabia.
State-Scholars which become popular and influential, because they have all resources of a Taghut-state and not because of their 3ilm and not because of the realization of their first obligation in Islam.
They had many students and their students have also many students which become like "Sufis" in their love to the scholars.
I cannot speak for the sheikh himself, but it could be because many of those who follow only certain scholars (like uthmaymeen, bin baz, etc.) tend to take on very narrow interpretations and they say that it is not enough to call ourselves Sunnis, we must call ourselves Salafis, as if to say we are ghayr madhab.
Allah ta'ala immortalised the advice of Luqman to his son in the Qur'an, saying:
17. "O my son! AqimisSalât (perform AsSalât), enjoin (people) for AlMa'rûf (Islâmic Monotheism and all that is good), and forbid (people) from AlMunkar (i.e. disbelief in the Oneness of Allâh, polytheism of all kinds and all that is evil and bad), and bear with patience whatever befall you. Verily! These are some of the important commandments ordered by Allâh with no exemption.
Have you ever heard of anyone calling to the truth, to Allah, and Islam who wasn't slandered?
Look at what is said about our beloved Prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him.
What matters is not what is said against any one person, rather how they live and what they call to.
Imagine the wisdom of Luqman when he said to enjoin good and then bear with patience what befalls you! Because you will be tried because of your good work!
subhanallah, cud sumbody plz post the translation of wat sheikh sudais is saying, plz jazakallahukhair.indeed the sheikh was a great scholar may Allah forgive him
he is a saudi shaykh muhammad bin al uthaimeen, just as all the saudi shaykhs he hasnt got a noble lineage of knowledge that traces back to the early muslims, a true scholor has a chain of tranmission which uthmaimeen certainly hasnt
thesalafi: you said and alhumdulillah you are correct "YOU DONT NEED TO HAVE A NOBLE LINEAGE TO PRACTICE ISLAM AND LEARN ABOUT IT"
what you said above is correct.
but in reality to be a scholor you would have had to have studied with scholors yourself, those scholors you studied with, they themselfs studied with thier shaikhs and so on and so forth, it doesnt come from books.
The shaykhs has studed under the Imaam before him which goes all the way back to Imaam Ahmad bin Hambal and many others Imaams...so we say as al-Imaam Ahmad said:
((Say to the people of innovation (ahlul-bid'ah): Between you and us are the funerals))
one of the three greates schtolars of our time, the prophet salalhualayhewasalm said that 'Allah subhanahu wata3ala will send to the umma at the end of each century those who will renew and rebuild thier deen' there is no doubt that he was one of the three that did that may allah forgive him and grant him the firdous wiv the prophets and the companions and the shuhadaa and the righteous ones...say ameen
it is sheikh bin uthaimin. the first pic shown of the person with a white beard is sheikh bin uthaimin then a picture of sheikh bin baz is put and the background talk is him (sheikh bin baz)

First obligation in Islam:
"yakfur bil taghuuti wayu`min billahi"
and not give bay3a, Iman and ibaada

We Muslim follow only Quran and Sunnah and not the shuyukhs. Our first obligation is:
"yakfur bil taghuuti wayu`min billahi"
and not give the bay3a, the realization of Iman and ibaada the taghawit.

Well, those people are narrow minded, given the fact that Sheikh Uthaymeen (Rahimahullah) himself condemned such actions.
