Tom my idi is 2wd too here in New England. Drove it a few weeks back in the freak october storm we got. It did good with no weight in the back and snow tires. Had to think ahead sometimes build up momentum. First time driving rwd in the snow.
LOL you should see my mazda 323 crawl through the snow with that heavy ass box in it ... the new one is much better than the old box . it weighs bout the same but seems to keep the weight more on the front wheels better . did you see my shout out video? :)
@skatecodered well I do put weight in the back of the diesel, almost 2000 lbs worth of it last year. Only helps on flat ground. On hills, the diesel spins to a stop. Just to much low end power to stop the back wheels from spinning.
The 460 dominates the snow!! I drove into a 4 foot ditch with snow on purpose and crawled my way right back out. It just dosnt have the tabs updated and no signal lights yet.
@tom58c If that diesel was 4x4 it would be so much better!! I love that 460 and also its stick so it can crawl better than auto trans!! Make more videos of the 460
@skatecodered oh yeah, if the diesel was 4 wheel it wouldnt be funny. But anyways yes, I plan on some light wheeling trips with the 460. Now that I have a 4x4 again Im getting into it.
NIce man! Those roads looked slick for sure. Sometimes I'd rather have more snow on the road then less snow....Meaning, I think the plows make the roads worse. Snow can have good traction to it! :)
@mbyr31 oh there you are lol. I never saw it. YES unless the plow gets all the way to the road, they only make a hard packed snow/ ice layer on the road. Then it gets really hard to drive on lol.
@tom58c they dont mind snow actually do really good in snow they just dont like the sand and thousands of pounds of salt they throw down fucks up chrome baaddd
