EOTW, to me, seems toned down. RODT was clas, technical pop-punk, could see hardcore influence. Then hearing EOTW it sounds purely aimed at a new audience, I dont like the sound of it. This is'nt coming from some kid who's only just started to FYS. I've listened to them for a long time.

Hey, that's a great idea. Since they make so little money off of CDs, why don't we just stop paying for them altogether? Denying them the little profits that they can make from album sales is just as bad as the swindling that the record execs put them through. Yes, they make money on concert-related sales, but albums are how the bands get known. If a band doesn't make enough of a profit on their first album, their chances of getting into big concerts that'll get them tons of sales are slim.

If you buy a band's cd off of iTunes, they make like 50 cents on it. You're still supporting them, but if you pay to see them live and buy their cd at the show, you are supporting them waayyyyy more. CD's sold at shows bring in way more cash for the band.

Cost to rent the venue, daily cost of the buses, paying crew members/venue faculty, security, food costs, gas/ other travel costs, and the list goes on for what seems forever. The entire goal of a tour is NOT lose money. So if the end result is breaking even, or even making 5 bucks, the tour was a 100% success. Bands make their money through royalties and sponsors.
