@tabledechevet2007 Hi, I switched the spur and pinion with the same ones that a Traxxas Slash uses. Yes it fits correctly but be warned this gearing will create heat, I also ended up putting a Castle Creations SCT motor/esc combo in the truck and on 2s lipo it produced plenty of speed and power along with lower temps. While this combo can run 3s the truck just handles ridicules if you run it on 3s it will eventually over heat. If you have any more questions feel free to private message me.
@tabledechevet2007 yeah you have to thread the first screw on just a couple threads then get the second one going. After you get the second in it fits like a glove and spins straight while running, its not warped or anything like that.

@SoundsLikeBruce Thanks Bruce, ya know I wasn't exactly sure what to expect when I started the conversion but I am sure glad I did. If you have any sand of gravel/sand mix hills available I would recommend it, you are right its a blast!

In your set-up, you changed the spur gear with a 40 T ? Where did you find it please ? Because I use a 87 T and it's definitely too slow !
