I love this mix! This is labeled as Dear Prudence Take 1 Mix B on The Beatle White Album Deluxe Edition. I prefer it because it has a clean intro and not the annoying jet noise of the released version. I also love the clean ending with Paul's bass to the fore. I prefer this to the album version.

Sounds like someone took the original version and isolated John's vocals, put heavy reverb on them (a la solo Lennon), then put them back in (via 4 or 8 track recorder). As for the ending, I think it is the original, but we all know it with the fade out before this occurs.

What gives it away is that all the overdubs are the same, it's just a different balance and different reverb on John's voice.

My friends and I wore this album out playing it over and over when it was first released.
