my grandmother was telling me a very interesting story about abortion before it was legal. her friend had gotten pregnant and could not have the child. they had to go down to mexico in order to have the abortion. it was very scary and her friend was in constant fear for her life. my grandmother was scared she would lose a close friend that day. they preformed the abortion with unsanitary tools and very sketchy methods. fortunately her friend got out safe. no woman should have to go through that.
is a sperm and an egg meeting in the first trimester worth more than a womans life? and why cant it be her choice. it is her body, her egg. sometimes adoption is not an option too.
These canidates are coached to speak to these kind of questions by jumping around them and not anserwing that or anything, however i dont support republicans however im not sure if i support democrats either, it doesnt matter for now i cant vote
Funny... a lot of guys are pro-life. Well that's great - for you! You're not the one to get pregnant. Do you really believe that a woman's life is less than that of an embryo?
If the entire country criminalized abortions, what do you think will happen? More women will be leaving the country to have the abortion or there will be more back-alley abortions.
Hi Jeska. A woman's life is NOT less than that of a baby(as some call it "embryo"). I think we disagree in what it means to be pregnant. So there's not much we can talk there. Although I can say that whoever is pregnant has given life to one who did not choose to "be", therefore until the baby becomes an adult its his/her decision to live or not, not the biological parent.
But I can respond to your other questions. If the country criminalized abortions(murders) and as you say women leave the country or back-alley abortions increase than let it be. Anyone has the free-will to murder and/or disobey the law. But the law should not stand for convenience of life, but for the bettering of life.
I would have to aggree with Bill. You can't consider the "what if" situation in choosing what is morally right vs wrong. All that does is take something that is obviously right (or wrong) and over time, skew people's perception of it and forces it into that gray area.

Yes, if abortion was legal in the US pregnant women would have more safety, but what about the baby? Where did the free will of a human being go?
If the woman wasn't prepared to raise a child she could put him/her for adoption. Let the baby grow up to make his/her own decisions to live or not.
