Beautiful, getting tolisten to tracks or rather realmusic with depth, instrumental flow like this always gives me hope that real real music is still alive,we who truly love music should continue to support artists like Erro & producers like J Rawls..thanks for the upload triggah123
@kenyon4us did you know Rawls recently dropped an album called The Hip Hop Affect, pretty dope if you're into Jazz-Hop (Hip Hop infused with Jazz) just thought i'd let you know
i think the same....if da dope shiiid wuz on da radio ...same shiid would happen to our good music...mainstream means ....finish ur fkn album till day X or we cut u out...u all know da results...so it is whuud it is...
Rawls is my Teacher. [: Or at least was Last year.
For a long time I didn't know he even produced music. Now it's honorable that I never get on someones bad side. Now I wonder, why he doesn't quit teaching, and move into music. A question, that'll probably never be answered.
I've been loving this song forever, despite the meaning.. and I cant believe I never noticed it was Eric Roberson singing... despite having this song on 3 ipods, my work computer, downloaded to my car... wow
I got a copy of this free with another CD i got from a UK online vendor. Loved this track since the first listen years ago. Nothing mainstream or recent i can think of beats it. Singing along now.
shout of to Jersey and Ohio on this TIIIGHT collabo...ErRo def is doin his thing on the lyrics, and J-Rawls, of course, is killin it on the production.
"...was good when we started, then things got retarted"...hands down, one of the tightest lines ever, how true.
it gets no better that this right here...good shit ErRo and J-Rawls
I got this track with a promo CD sent with a yesterdays new quintet album in the UK. I used to listen to this track all the time - everything about it works. So soulful, funky...so good to hear it again.
If it wasn't for public radio stations like KCRW (out here in LA) I never would've heard of J-Rawls' material. There's more to R&B than Beyonce, Ne-Yo, the same damn Old School joints and Gospel (not all black folks like Gospel..Sheesh!). Thank goodness for the new MTV/BET known as YouTube.
To zostaje w nas ...
im sorry djhitek i meant to put a thumbs up on the rating. i agree with you, good music is put on the back burner due to money instead of request, also we have to blame viacom (owners of mtv,bet and affiilates)for how most music is seen & represented.
The World Is Fair When It Comes To Music. If You Really Appreciate Music You Will Find Real Hip Hop And Soul. As Long As We Continue To Support Eachother And Create Awareness Of This Real Music. We Dont Need T.V. Peace
