  • What-A-Do Theatre in Battle Creek Mi. is putting on a production of "The Christmas Schooner". Last show is 12/17/2011. We have had a lot of fun with it and feel the importance of the work.

  • Hey Rich - featuring your video today on Absolute Michigan - love it!!

  • nice work and great presentation!

    Thank you

  • no mames

  • I believe my lady had and uncle on that boat charles nelson, anyone with info on him please post

  • @stanleyj881 There was a Charles Nelson, sailor from Chicago i believe.

  • Great video. The wreck is inmarkable good condition.

  • Interesting story

  • i live in valders wisocnsin and my dad drives the christmas tree ship that goes picks up santa and christmas trees and docks at the maritime musume in manitowoc on dec. 1 so i know alot about christmas tree ships thats why i like my dad and his job i winter lol

  • Wow only one tank?? that's wack bottom for a no deco. dive at 150 Ft. is 9 min and you went 180 on a single tank of air......did you blow some stops or what??

  • Hmm..same year as the Titanic. Funny in a weird way,

  • it was good

  • that was a cool video, i live in two rivers and we do alot of charter fishing on lake michigan and when we're up there you can see it come up on the graph, and you still always see dead bare christmas trees washed up on the beaches which will always remind you of the christmas tree ship

  • The trees still standing and intact! O.o Awesome!

  • No bodies or any bones. This wreck happened a very long time ago and the lake claimed all of those aboard. I created the song in the Mac application Garageband.

  • Oh yeah...and.. what SONG is that??

    I love the rhythem!!!

  • Well, I LOVE that story..

So did the divers see any bodies?

Thats AMAZING how the ship stayed in one piece.

  • What was your bottom time? How come you used singles instead of doubles?

  • I was wondering the same. 180' is a pretty deep dive on air if you just have an AL 80.

  • That is way cool. I had the opportunity of meeting John Chatterton at a speaking engagement he had here in Holland, Michigan. It was very, very cool. I even got my picture taken with him.

  • we sailed on board the Denis Sullivan out of Milwaukee with John Chatterton, it was very cool!!

  • A very cool dive!

  • wow
