i would sell my family for the D3x, i moved up from the D70s to the D300s and love it but but the D3x is always dangling in my face like the carrot on the stick. Only problem is i know the minute i can afford the D3x nikon will launch a D4 with even better features ( i don't know how) for me to drool over
Hello, I just bought a D3100 and had a couple of Q pls;
Does the does the AF Fisheye-Nikkor 16mm f/2.8D fit on the D3100 directly....
I also create panoramas, and always heard about a full frame fisheye lens, also heard about fullframe cameras, can someone guide me as to what is the difference here, and if/how are they used together? What Nikon camera offers the Full Frame Option? And what lens goes well with it, and can any combination really produce a 180 degree vertical coverage?
@megsypu i feel that difference regarding simply semi pro and expert is small today. d7000 is all many of us need. visit... freedslr . cong change cong with com and get a way to bring home completely new Nikon D7000
If I had this camera, I would sell it and buy a d3. In my opinion it's a much better camera but that's my opinion. I don't want to start a war over it :)
@owendart It depends on what you use it for. for me, it would be the D3 hands down. The D3x is the ultimate studio camera for people who do that kind of thing, but that's not what I do.
did you watch the other two parts to the video? This bit was just an overview of the general functions. I talk more professionally about it in part 2.
Ideally, if I was super-duper rich, it would be the D3s hands down, but practically speaking, yeah it would be the D700 or whatever the model equivalent is by the time I'm ready for a new camera.
HAHAHA I was wondering if somebody was going to call me on that! I'm looking at myself in the LCD screen of my camcorder. It's a bad habit, and I'm trying to break it ;)
Regarding your comment on the AF-ON button on the rear, you can have a similar control on a D90. Change your custom setting f4 to AF-ON, you can then use the AE-L/AF-L button to focus instead of the shutter release.
REALLY??? DUDE, YOU'RE THE MAN!!! I can't believe I didn't know that. Then again, I didn't really know such a function existed until I played with the D3x. This is what youtube is about; people helping each other out!

Well it certainly isn't a professional review, which means that someone who actually wants to buy one won't be helped by it.

I don't think I need to, you keep saying I don't know what this does, or this is too much to explain. If it's too much I'll just ask in the store -.-
