  • I had this video when I was a kid!

LMAO it's ridiculous that she says it so much.

    How unfortunate. XD

  • the swedish is the best, but the english is actually very good!

  • if she want spunk continuously, she will be a spanked by her mother

  • 0:30 What a total face for porn...

  • uh huh huh huh

    she said schlong

  • I'd love to spunk her!

  • @Magnoliaprod now thats just wrong

  • hahah i have a coffegrinder like that <3 love pippi, my mum is swedish i grew up with her, and the cildren in the kindergarden i work in now know i know the whole Pippi theme song , Här kommer Pippi Långstrump. they always scream MOOOOOJE PIPPIIII!!! (in norway we have no norwegian version of the song, we sing the swedish one, so when you work in a norwegian kinder garden and know the whole song you become reeeaaaally popular..... lol)

  • Loved Pippi as a kid. Strangely, this is the only episode that I have always remembered clearly. I guess it was the made-up word fun that made it so memorable. I recall going out and pretending to look for (what I thought I heard her say) a "sponk" or "spoonk". That's children's TV and film at its best -- it inspires action and creative thinking in a child's mind. A great show.

As for the weirdo comments below this, you really need to get out more often.

  • Press 5 and wait a sec

  • Haha, Pippi can't find Spunk because she IS Spunk!!

  • You son of a spunk. Spunk off or i'll spunk ya ass !

  • 1:45 ROFL

  • I saw this in the 80's as a lil kid. Man this girl is trippin! Lol

  • Am i on drugs?

  • laughed so much i shot sponk , luckily i had a johnnie on

  • laughed so much i shot sponk , luckily i had a johnnie on

  • Lol @ My spunk hurts!!

  • soooooo wrong LOL LOL

  • ok i admit i know that she say mousie BUT did that girl (voiceactor) named the rat to "little Nazi"?! (and yes in the sweden she calls it a rat)

  • Here in America spunk is actually a “dirty" word.. That's sex related.

  • BAD PIPI ! >:(

  • I like the part where she goes all like "spunk spunk spunk". She doesn't have a soul.

  • Swedish Program :)

  • 3 words. I LOVE PIPPI!

  • All this talk about spunk we are missing the point!! Its a ginger bastard that needs killing with fire!!

  • And the funniest thing about this video is that the Danish people pronounce Pippi Longstocking like "PEE PEE"....which of course means penis in English. And Spunk means sperm in english.......So Spunk came from Pippi....to an american that sounds like "Sperm comes from the Penis".....Hilarious.

  • @jasonperno Too bad the original isn't in Danish.

  • @vertgg Yeah but it's pronounced the same in Swedish, so the joke still applies. The two languages are very similar. I just happen to live in Denmark that's why I referred to the Danes.

  • she was so cute with her freckles and her dimples. :))

  • Wtf is that the expression at 0.32??

  • i got a dangerous snake full of spunk

  • You cut out the dropping to the ground - where she lies motionless for a short while!

Anyway, here in Denmark, we have some salty liquorice candy called Spunk, named after the Pippi story.

  • My spunk hurts, lets go to the doctor!!!!!!

    Hahahahahahahah

  • SPUNK!

  • det är mycket bättre på svenska !!

  • Back in 1969, was spunk spunk or was spunk called something other than spunk?

  • ಠ_ಠ

  • va fan denna kommer jag inte ihåg :D xD

  • This is far funnier than it should be

  • 0:12 I'm sure it's something for curious nazis? lol

  • @TryItAgain123 | For your information, she does NOT say 'nazis', she says 'mousies', as it is a mouse she's talking to!

  • @funky2cobra I know. I just thought it was a fun interpretation given the context. :)

  • I hate that B-part they added to the intro melody in the export /dubbed versions. Nothing but sentimental muzak, ripping off the B-part of " if I were a rich man" Pippi should´t sound like that.Where are the hot congas and the golden hornsection ?

  • I didn't want to say but it lloked like hair had been in a bucket of it.

  • I'll be honest, I'm really really confused

  • WTF!!! My Spunk hurts lets goto the Doctors! LMFAO......

  • lol! probably under 10 seconds.

  • Yeah go to the doctor and say my spunk hurts see how long it takes to be dragged to a mental hospital.

  • hmmm well spunk in english was refering usually to their energy or courage to carry on. And was a common expresion that people would say to a person, saying they had spunk, in reference to their spirit to press on with courage. It wasn't used as vulgar slang to decades after this. But I have noticed there are many words in the english language that have been tainted the same way this one was. And in the last ten years it's got even worse.

  • The ADR in this is so horrible. . .

  • Comment removed

  • Hmm.. O.o many of you ppl in here don't seem to know that spunk = sperm .. these days. I'm sure it wasn't called that back in the days when Astrid Lindgren wrote this.

But really sick to watch the whole episode.. ^_^ "Annika, wouldn't some spunk taste good?" sick man, sick.

  • @SomeWNB it does? i only know how people originally used it. there goes another good word...

  • haha

Pippis english voice it to funny.

She have a totally diffrent voice in the real movie, the swedish voice.

Listen and see by your self, if you want to :)

  • Robert Pattinson said he wanted to be called something cool like "Spunk Ransom or Ransom Spunk" and he loved Pippi as a kid so he maybe got the idea from Pippi?

  • Why didn't they translate spunk into something else in english?

    LMAO.

  • @Zingo33 in england spunk is another word for seemin

  • Yes, I know. That's why I asked why they hadn't translated Spunk into something else from Swedish to English.

  • LMFAO watch her smile thing from 0:30

  • @TheZarus could you share with us please the idea behind the Swedish word. What thought was Pippi trying to convey?

  • @mjlove999 no one knows.... it's not actually a word hahaha believe me, my whole life i've been trying to figure out what spunk means :)

  • @mjlove999 LOL, "spunk" isn't a word in Swedish, that's the idea. It's a word that has no meaning, a made up word, and she's trying to find something she can name with it :)

  • if you shling shlang your shlong you get spunk

  • haha! When I was a kid, I always wondered what a spunk was... In Swedish, it's just a nonsense word. Too bad it is not in English. The coffee-grinding sequence is hilarious. spunk, spunk, spunk lol!
