it will follow *ANY* prism. You can even change prism constant on a gun if you need to. And in case it loses it because of temporary obstacle, it WILL find it again.
Personally, i like Sokkia SRX gun.
Carlson data collector that comes with it.. is a different story. It is the most *********** ever made! Allegro combined with Carlson software & Sokkia SRX, even tho not perfect, is way way better option imho.

I ordered the SRX and it will be delivered next week.
After the Sokkisha Red Mini, the Sokkisha DT5theodolite, the Sokkia Set5 total station and the GSR2700 ISX GNSS receiver this will be my 5th Sokkia measuring device!
