I'm so happy combat missions are over in Afghanistan. I'm really worried about the troops staying in the Middle East after the Libya conflict. Bring them home too, Syria and Iran are not our problems.
@BlessedHellride009 I'm afraid the "Mission" is not really over in Afghanistan and won't be for sometime. There's still tons of Canadian troops serving in non-combat roles there and will contibue to do so.

There is nothing like going to my childrens' elementary school yesterday at 11:00am Remembrance Day Assembly and hearing 200 innocent little voices sing along to this wonderful dedication while the individual classes laid wreaths by the cross. Not a dry eye could be seen. So very proud of all the men and women who serve and have served and lost their lives. We shall never forget.
I'm going to try to favourite and like both this and A Pittance of Time every Remembrance Day.
And to those that disliked this song... I understand that, perhaps, you just didn't like the song in general, and that you might actually respect our soldiers sacrifices. But you should really have thought about how this was a tribute to fallen Canadian soldiers and all they did for us before you pressed that button.

@TheReaper951 I agree too, i respect the americans as much as i do us. But its people like that guy that put a sour taste in my mouth. We're all fighting side by side, but he sees it as America doing all the work and we are sitting in Kandahar doing dick all! I couldnt be more proud to be a Canadian, and if it werent for the CP in my right leg, i would definitely serve in my countries Military, Navy, Coastguard, etc. As long as im doing my part to protect our great nation

There is nothing like going to my childrens' elementary school yesterday at 11:00am Remembrance Day Assembly and hearing 200 innocent little voices sing along to this wonderful dedication while the individual classes laid wreaths by the cross. Not a dry eye could be seen. So very proud of all the men and women who serve and have served and lost their lives. We shall never forget.

I'm going to try to favourite and like both this and A Pittance of Time every Remembrance Day.
And to those that disliked this song... I understand that, perhaps, you just didn't like the song in general, and that you might actually respect our soldiers sacrifices. But you should really have thought about how this was a tribute to fallen Canadian soldiers and all they did for us before you pressed that button.
Or maybe your finger slipped. I can't think of any other excusable reason.
