she looks like she is in pain in the kiss and cry. quite the difference from the pro competitons where she COULD compete with the amateurs still (1993 and 1994).

I'm dumbfounded by how thin she was here. She was always tiny but strong and muscular in her earlier days. She looks like a waif here, a shadow of her former self.

Her face showed, that something bothering her. Despite of this she looked really very sweet. And the showed sentence "Midori we love you" is really true.

@Tramoaky I think there was presure from the Japanesse Federation to get more spots. Hanae Yokoya was the only top skater from Japan back then and was also very young. Midoi, if I recall correctly, was strugling with illness and injury as well.

That's been a common recognition in Japan. (but you know, no one's taken her great). ("artistic" means also "good look", especially in japan's uncultured ppl.)

In 2007, finally, that same false, fabricated, and serious TV documentary has come out from the NHK (BBC in Japan).
