If you haven't noticed, almost every mainstream religion in the world is an exclusive bunch of people who have been discriminating unbelievers in any way possible throughout the ages. Very scientific, and you can't avoid philosophy if you believe in science, because the revelations of biological science actually suggests that none other than intelligent design had to have ordered such wondrous laws of nature, i.e, the laws of the universe in its 3-element structure. Did the universe always exist? If so, then that would define "Infinity," and infinity is another descriptive word for "Eternity." Now, anything eternal would suggest an eternity beyond science

Why wouldn't it have any sentimental value? Also, why would it need sentimental value to be good to me? Third, that is the most ludicrously immoral thing I've ever heard. Charity isn't about what's good to you.

@luisluv65 I know it's an old post and you probably don't even use that account anymore, but, uhm, poe's law is a principle in the culture of memes that states: "satire without due warning is indistinguishable from the real version of what is being satired".
Even conservapedia gives that as the definition so where did you find a version of poe's law that meant something absurdly different as you stated here?

That I cannot prove. Neither Can I prove the Existence of God. So now I ask you, Can you prove that God does NOT exist? Look, there are many things in life we do NOT understand. why would I have to listen to him? There will be no judgment day for your god is dead. or did you already forget the most important part of the prophecy your god gave you? That he committed suicide. so how will he judge me if he is already dead? My God on the other hand, is ETERNAL. My God is EVERLASTING. there was nothing before Him. There will be nothing after Him.

We insult Christ because we have good reason to believe he is a lie, and is the main reason people like you exist. Show me one first century contemporary historian that wrote about a man performing miracles and rising from the dead.

@TwoHandedSledge Actually that story was written long before Christ in like 2000 B.C. with Osiris's son who, coincidentally, was also born of a virgin, on the 25th Dec, performed miracles and was sacrificed. Seems to me that Christianity is just plagiarism.

@TwoHandedSledge Haha, there's actually one roman scribe of some sort that mention a "prophet" in the right area, but prophets and demi-gods were in abundance around that time, con-men and stage magicians all. Why Jesus was so special is beyond me.

How's this for enlightenment. I work. Hard. I own a business and work over 10 hours a day. I pray when I wake up, I pray before work and I pray at night. The Lord Jesus has been great to me, I will not deny Him because of your ignorance toward a heavenly Father. I have no clue what you are trying to accomplish by insulting your Creator? Please inform me on what type of discussion we are having. Are you trying to tell me God does not exist? If so, we may talk like God intended. Pure.

@luisluv65 Do you think that the results of your life are because you worked hard, or because of Jesus. Seems like a lot of people pray and the results are what you expect. If you work hard and are successful, it is because you work hard. You don't, you won't, simple as that. Yes, your "god" does not exist and prayer is useless except as a form of hope. In the end it all comes down to you. If you stopped working hard and kept praying for success and suddenly it went away...well what a shocker.

It's a little more complicated than that. Beside God not existing, yes I agree with you and your point of view. Now imagine if you got rid of your cocky nature. Imagine if you got rid of your foul language. Imagine if you got rid of all the negative little defects you have. Would you not be a BETTER person? Would you not only go higher in life? God has made us amazing creatures with amazing capabilities. Before God, you and I are NOTHING but dirt. even science can back that 1 up.

Oh and you know nothing of me and my deeds, so don't be pretentious. Fact is, I do good things because I know it's right and I see the results of it and I do it without the promised reward of heaven, or the threat of hell. I also disagree with you that we are dirt. We may have simple origins, but we are who we choose to be, nothing more, nothing less.
