Do yourself a BIG favor, with any foam plane get some Minwax Polycrylic 1/2 pint semi-gloss or gloss, clean off the foam with rubbing alcohol, with a brush give it 2 or 3 coats of polycrylic (NOT polyurethane) and it makes the colors/decals really 'pop', gives it a smooth finish which makes the plane fly more efficient and wiping off dirt/dust is much easier instead of dirt getting embedded into the foam. It adds hardly any wight and really looks sharp. I did this with my Parkzone T-28 and wow!!
Blahhhhh...I had no access to internet due too a sudden loss of WiFi, yeah so I maidend it and it was sikkk! Only prob is the gear keeps on flying off all the time. Besides this, the Trojan is easy and maneuverable. Fast and just pure fun. Like a supercub with wings on the bottom lol. So now I've got two off them XD. (A pnp) I just have a prob... ive put in the PZ reciever and it doesnt work at all with my transmitter. its on the same frequency so i need to think of something.
The receiver is bad. Send it back for a new one. Parkzone will replace it for free. It's a well known problem. I would put a DX5 radio system in it & be done with it if it were me though.
The main gear falls off but, I got a new wing and gear for my flaps experimenting. And about the radio thing, I am going to get some DSM2 radio and RX, and I'm looking towards the JR 12x 2.4ghz dsm2 computer radio and a AR6100 receiver. I know It will take me half a decade to finally have enough money, so know I'll stick to the PZ stuff. About how long does it take for PZ to change my receiver? Could it be that a crystal is damaged cause the one on my transmitter fell out.
Yeah sounds good. You have 2 options: You send them your broken reciever with a copy of the sales reciept, & they will send you another one, or you can ship the whole plane back if it 's still new (un flown) & they'll send you another one. The crystal probably just needs to be plugged back in to the socket. You can do that yourself. There's 2 slots where it plugs in. The crystals won't break unless you smash them.
Cool. You'll like the T-28 alot. It's fast, so be careful on the first couple flights. When you get good with the T-28, then you'll be ready for the Parkzone F4U Corsair if you like the way the T-28 handles.
Would the F4U corsair be OK as a first aileron? On the other It has all of the specs of the Trojan, but the radio (dx5 something) can be a wise investment, especially because Its compatible with many Bind n' fly planes. But the trojan is suppose to be more responsive and faster which means FUN!
That depends on how good you can fly the Super Cub. Reaction time is the big thing with either one. Both are quick with the 2 blade prop, & the landing gear un-installed. Make sure you flip the switch to the low rate setting for the first couple flights, & don't fly either of them on a windy day for the first flight. They're both a blast to fly. I liked the T-28 so much, that I bought 2 of them, & custom painted one of them. Both fly almost identical, but the Trojan makes a better second plane
I fly the super cub pretty freaken well!!! I maneuvered thru trees, lamp poles, flew it in 20 mph winds, and flew it so close to me that it once clipped my antenna on the transmitter. I could even fly circles around my friends. I also have a very good experience with Pk Focke Wolf and the Hobbico hobbistar so... My reaction speed is pretty good I think, so i'm just saying the supercub and focke wolf were a breeze to fly not to brag lol :P
OK. You'll have no problem with either the T-28, or Corsair, if you can fly the FW 190, & Hobbistar like you mentioned. They're both faster though, but fly about the same overall.
K I just got the T-28 Trojan from Red Rocket Hobbies! The Corsair has a DX5E radio, but its only 5 ch, not enough for flaps and retracts that I'm planning on installing so I think that I should Invest In another DSM2 radio. The Corsair is also known to be slower and has a paint scheme that shows the Z-Foam cells. The Tail-Dragger stuff is also a minus. I just now need to find a good radio, I need help with that. I was thinking the Dx6i or the Dx7se or if I'll have enough money the JR 12x2.4

Nice.
Which gear falls off? Nose, or main?

These are AWESOME planes!!! The perfect step up after mastering the Hobbyzone Super Cub if anyone was wondering.
Cummins359power 3 years ago
yea I just totally mastered my Cub so looks like this plane is mine!

Sounds good! The DX6i would be a good choice for it. Did you get the PNP version?
Cummins359power 3 years ago
I got the RTF, I know, I know bad choice, but I think I'll get the SpektrumDX7se lator on for flaps and stuff.
hatakekakashi1914 3 years ago
Yeah, I might put flaps on mine eventually. There's a bunch of videos on here showing them after the mod. Supposed to be a great mod.
Cummins359power 3 years ago
I'm also thinking about a retractable gear... dunno, might be to hard tho. And I also ordered a 3-blade prop. Can't wait till my Trojan arrives!

My Trojan is taking for EVER to deliver!!!
