he has like a fully customized guitar with a jazzmaster body, idk if you can even call it a jazzmaster anymore, thurston and lee in sonic youth do basically the same thing

coryjim - J always played vintage Jazzmasters until he got his signature model. The only thing he really did to change them was swap in tune-of-matic bridges and change the pickups sometimes (but always to Jazzmaster pickups, not humbuckers like lee or anything). His Jazzmasters are very near to stock.
