@CHAOTIKProject....your basing your comment off the fact that its another band that uses poly rythyms...your a tard...meshuggah didnt invent that shit
@DraculusVulgaris Oh but they did. They started in 1989, Played eight string guitars in 2001. So they've made albums when these guys were still forming. Meshuggah is one of the grand daddies. While they may not have invented it they discovered it!
@junkyardw I know right? Djent has been out for the longest time. It started out with the Nu Metal scene that some guitarists had a tone like the Djent guitarists today.
@junkyardw Well yea, now come to think of it you're right, I take that back. I listened right now to one of the songs off of the Destroy Erase Improve and it does have djenty tone.
@CHAOTIKProject This is the only song that has an eight string in it. It may have nigh on the same tuning as Meshuggah, But the style of play and the feel of it are two completely different things.

@popshotizbeast i think hes talking about how the base of the riff is the basis of every djent riff lol

@popshotizbeast The opening riff to this song sounds very similar to Stengah. Just to clarify, I love both bands too, but I could't help notice that.
