Not always, depends on the topic. If not talking in English, I try speaking French to my French colleague and he German to me and we talk about French and German culture. This is really great. I believe hate has more an historical dimension rather than an actual one in the French-German relation. However, I believe that the relation is not easy. But as long we talk and not shoot to each other it is great.
