Those French buildings are a sign of their dominance towards your country. They colonized your pathetic country for 100 years and exploited it for their benefit. Allowing those buildings to stand tall and proud today shows that you shitnamese will always be inferior to foreign powers.

why? dmant, don't you know part of saigon's beauty is the french influence. during the french colonial era, which was almost 100 years, the french helped build what saigon is today. without the french buildings, saigon would only have chinese-style temples and american-style buildings in constant reconstruction. then saigon would lose its essence and look like a clone of all those other boring asian cities that look identical, such as singapore, taipei, seoul, and tokyo.
