  • at 00:45-1:15 it gets to be TAP DOG-ish. just watch it. rent the dvd or something. it looks pretty much exactly like the opening tap number. im not critizing you on it or calling you out, im just sayin "hey! that looks familiar and i love this". you're taps are amazingly clean and clear and it's super good. tis all.

  • well i love tap dogs and i might have been taught by teachers who have a similar style. Thanks for the completments

  • @howsyourcheese idd tap dogs!!!

  • Nice. You're really good. I love the shoes [and from the other posts, know exactly who you're talking about, hah.]. You're from New York? Me too. And uh, just an observation, you posted this two days after two very special holidays. One: my birthday. Two: national tap dance day. Oh my, I just love how I know this. =]

  • happy birthday! .. and happy tap day!! thanks for the comment =)

  • Why are your shoes high and thick??

  • Savion G. (if ur a tap dancer im sure u kno who he is)has the exact same shoes. Their called K360's .. the thickness is designed for the specific sound it gives. Their amazing! =)

  • #runs and tightens tap shoes#

    haha, nice sound.

  • That is awesome! I was wondering though: what is a good shoe to start out with? I'm beginning a tap class this spring :)

  • wow. nice clean sounds and keeping of rythm. keep it up

  • wow..very impressive. clean sounds and good rhythm. i enjoyed watching this. keep up the good work! =]

  • wow! i REALLY enjoyed this! thanks for sharing it and yeah i also like how it was filmed so you can see all the steps clearly! you made some really fun rhythms! keep up the great work :)

  • What brand of taps and tap shoes do you use? They sound great and I need new shoes.

  • i use K360's their the shoes that savion glover uses .. there amazing!! ... i recomend calling pete from capizio in new york city if u want them =)

  • So, what's with the shaking and rubbing of the toes, as if they hurt or had gone numb? I'm just starting, and wondering how much of what tap really is, is the shoes and metal. Could you do the same thing in other shoes? There is a clip of two girls who are barefoot, for instance, still doing the moves.

  • You can always do the moves, but to make the crisp tap sound it all depends on the metal tap itself. Also the floor, the type of tap and how tight or loose it is. There are a whole bunch of different factors that go into it.

  • marypop24, I don't think you're too old to start anything. Anyway, as I am typing this, the way my fingers move on the keyboard reminds me of tap dancing!

  • unfortunately, I don't tap myself.

I wish I could!!! do you think that at 20 you're too old to start?

  • Never.. tap can be danced will into your later years, its good for keeping fit , great for keeping your beain active as you get older, I'm 46 and started tapping 2 years ago .. I love it ..I wish I as 20 give it a go.

  • nice job, not all that hard, but good rhythm

  • Eyyy.. I want to learn dance "tap".. Tell me.. Is it really HARD?? I live in a country where doesn't exist tap..!! WOW... It's amazing this dance!!!

  • I'm loving this. Love the way it's filmed too - nice and close and low so I can see whats going on. I've just started tappin and it's inspirational. Can you post another one day please...nickoftime

  • Awesome! Keep up the good work!

  • Keep it up! Sounds great! Nice and clean.

  • Hi my name's Beth and i'm 14, i'm also a grade 6 student {6 being the higest grade at my school} of a dance academy in Melbourne, Australia. I love to tap and I think you have great rythem, keep tapping...it's soooo aws! LOL

  • What's with the flat shoes? Is it an American thing?

  • Yeah, kind of, I guess. Savion Glover popularized the Capezio K360 shoe with the custom build-up (which appears to be what she's wearing). I learned in heels, which makes pullbacks from the heels a lot easier. I like flat oxfords, though. :)

  • more tap video please i love the sounds of your taps

  • i like your style!

  • Thanks i really apreciate it

  • you're really good!

  • thank you!! .. =)
