  • @alamo11 nice to hear from you brother. It's been a long time, hope you are well. Thanks for the comments and have a blessed day

  • I like to add, why do all have a language that is different today? It was because of the incident of the problem in Gen 11. Prior to that language wasn't an issue because all had the same language. So then we have to conclude that God and the angels had the same language Adam and Eve had. Sin didn't change it because it was changed much later in Gen 11. Should we conclude that the heavenly language is what was in the beginning was "Ashundola boshata"? c'mon, how does anyone know that's heavenly?

  • Amen! Paul's point was indeed that without love nothing else really matters. To me, speaking in tongues, or insisting that everyone speak in tongues to "prove" God has put His Holy Spirit in them, is a lack of faith. Peter told the crowd on the Day of Pentecost that if each one of them would repent and be baptized they would be saved. PERIOD! And...AND...they would receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. We are saved when we repent and are baptized.

I think there is lots to learn from the Native American people. If we don't re-find their kinship with the Earth we will suffer.

I was brought up to believe that Britain and the US were Ephraim and Manassah. This issue now sadly divides a father and son. In the bible the tribes were never 'lost.' They are spoken of as being in the land after the fall of the Northern kingdom. In history only the administrative portion where deported by Salmanassar.

"I am not a product of religion nor church (ACTS 17)." (Emphasis mine)

I am interested in finding out 'Why religion [was] invented [and] by who.' That's my current area of enquiry, but unlike Acts 17:27 I do not seek God, but truth. This was what allowed me to discover that the bible is not the product of the god it so awkwardly attempts to describe.

If a person seeks God, he will surely find him, of that I have no doubt. Religions wait like snares for such a man.

  • Are you counting yourself in on that?

You seem to not realise the difference between an omnipotent, omniscient being and the human founders of the constitution. (In private not Christians by the way.) I know a guy here on YouTube (atheist) who wrote his first book age 19 (Saturninefilms.)

"Man, as a whole, is dumb today. And that causes the confusion." No, the confusion is caused by dumb bronze and Iron age men writing ambiguous books that require 'interpretation' today.

  • As an unbeliever watching this my understanding is that the difficulty of interpreting passages like this, to the point where translations differ and much clarification is needed, points to the notion that the bible was not divinely inspired, but is the work of men only. You no doubt have a reason why 'God' has made it this way, but is it biblical or just rationalisation?

  • BillyFreethought... first of all, thanks for your comment

i firmly believe that the problem does not lie with the Bible as it is written in the original tongues (Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic) the problems arise from translations of the original writings which are based on mans misunderstanding and or misinterpretation of what the text actually meant. this is why i endevour whenever possible to look at the original writings

  • But why would God allow something so important as his one communication with mankind to be subject to problems arisinf from translations of the original writings?

  • i believe that those who genuinely seek after answers will find them regardless of how man tries to corrupt the Word of God. Thankfully He (God) has called faithfull people throughout the ages to preserve His truth.

God communicates to mankind in a number of ways, He often uses nature. The Bible is not His only line of communication

  • Many do genuinely seek after answers and they do indeed find them. Some go on to actually give their lives for the faith they believe God has led them to. This indicates a belief that is completely heartfelt and powerful. Of course the faiths they find are varied from Hinduism to Mormonism to Islam, Judaism and Christianity. All are CERTAIN to the point of laying their life on the line that God led them to that faith.

Surly something else it at work. (And I don't mean the devil.)

  • talking about speaking in tounges i know we all believe in it and if one thinks they don't then get up in the middle of the night and stub ur toe on the bed post and then see what u think or say and tell me one don't believe in speaking in tounges. just a thought too pass along too all.

  • MrBibleBeliever... i have made 4 other vids on 'tongues' please watch them and let me know what you think, thanks for your comment

  • I think the word charity in 1 corinthians 13:1 means *help to people in need*..... so that if its not shared as information recieved/shared......it helps no one but the reciever. So if one is preaching, and using the language of tongues which is supposedly the language of the Spirit of GOD speaking through them, and if its meaning is not shared to those being preached to, then yes, its just noise. :)

GOOD VIDEO! I Look forward to seeing more :)

Love and Light of GOD to You,

    Myst
