i did this while doing my exhaust. truly under high rpm's. sounds like complete shit. maybe thats why you never hear a high reved behind the car sound. just so everyone knows.

nice ride man, loved all the race videos!! believe it or not your videos got me to tune my GTP. Current mods: wizair intake, ZZP PCM, 180* t-stat, autolite 104's, pacesetter headers into 3" downpipe and full magnaflow exhaust, north star TB, TB spacer and 3.4 MPS. Keep up the vids man!!

@kokanunez123 actually i had my 98 GTP in the shop today, and i asked him what that "whining type" sound was next to the sides of the car....and the mechanic, who also happens to own a 2000 GTP said its the Fuel Pump...he said it makes that noise cause its an electric fuel pump...

more like open headers there is no downpipe on a GTP they are supercharged not turbo

The GTP has a downpipe, as do other cars . It doesn't matter if they have a turbo or a supercharger.

the GTP has manifold......there is no downpipe on it. the only cars that have a downpipe are ones that are equiped with a turbo hence the pipe that comes down form the turbo would be the downpipe. there is no downpipe from a supercharger only a pipe for the intake wich would be the intake! no downpipe genius

i would say so. my mustang has long tube headers, and after those it has an off road x-pipe that goes into borla mufflers. there is no downpipe at all. the only things that have a down pipe a cars that are equiped with a turbo up front. they do offer rear mount turbo systems but even those don't have a downpipe. i don't see what exactly you were thinking of?

your really retarded. fornt maifold and back manifold connect to downpipe, which connects to the cat, which connects to the u bend where the o2 sensor is, which connects to the resonators, which goes into 2.25 in pipe, into a y split, which connects to each muffler. i think i know a thing or two about my own car. are you failing auto class dipshit? not really, headers are way bigger. your just misunderstanding everything, the two manifolds (front and rear) come together and go into the downpipe. the downpipe connects the manifolds to the rest of the exhaust, your just confused. maybe you call it something different, but ask any gp guy what a downpipe is and they will tell you what i just said
