but ron paul would be one of the best presidents the US would ever have. He is a realist he doesnt search around looking like a doofus trying all these tricky and difficult things to save the Country, he goes the no bullshit/ all results way of things.

This is a classic example of how Ron Paul demonizes the government, when its really the fault of big corporations and their power and influence over the government. The SOPA laws were devised by private enterprise, by corporations that produce entertainment and digital media. They have lobbied and basically paid the goverment to support and introduce the bill. The problem isnt the government, its corporate money buying the government to protect their business interests and make more money.

If he says they want to take over the net, then they do. The lamestream media is losing control of what we think and their ratings are slipping while alternative media is rising. A British student who has never stepped foot in America is being extradited to America for breaching American law in the United Kingdom. The student set up a website in the UK which acted like google in presneting links to other sites. Nothing illegal about that in the UK yet America believes it has the right to prosecute and lock up someone from the UK for doing what is 100% legal in the UK.

American law does not apply to the UK yet the American government thinks it does.

@rsrhcp SOPA hasn't "passed" yet. The senate judicial committee is going to "debate" and vote on it later this month. Wyden and another senator plan to filibuster this by reading off names of people that oppose this bill. After SOPA, it's PIPA that we have to fight.
