No he wasn't, he's always been a score first PG, his passing is mediocre at best, hell Ginobili is a better passer than him. Parker didn't even develop a legit jump shot until '07 when he started working with Chip England, before that his jump shot was almost always off. He was good at driving it in but that's it, plus he's a horrible defender as well, layups=the reason why he's had years where his FG% is around 50%. Like I said, he didn't hit his prime until '07.

Tim Duncan+Any 7 footer= Excellent defense. Him and Rasho/Mohammed/whoever held down the paint in the playoffs, the last legit center Duncan played with was probably Elson lol. That's why their defense was so good, they pretty much controlled the paint against any team. Bowen was a great defender but people still scored on him, he never really shut anybody down except for some PG's and a few SG's, but he did force them to take VERT difficult shots which they still made.
