Nice review, I guess shooting pink birds while listen to Barbie girl would be a better game for this reviewer. Here we have a fast paced fps game where you blasting demons while listen to metal music, my only negetive is this: Why do we not have more of it in other fps games?

@Chappeh5 Oh come off it, and stop with the rhetoric. I wouldn't just change the music. I would flesh out the story and characters a little bit more, and I'd broaden the gameplay to break the monotonous gunfights.

SSGazem seemed to think that highly of the game. If I remember correctly, that's how this whole thing started. I'm contending that X-Play's assessment of the game is accurate and didn't warrant a great rating, not that loud noise doesn't go well with severed limbs.

@Chappeh5 yes, but just because the developers accomplished a pretty low ambition, it doesn't mean their work gets to be regarded as a masterpiece. ratings shouldn't work that way.

I'm sort of surprised they made fun of the music in the game since I played Steam's demo for this game a long time ago and, if there was one thing it needed badly, it was rock music for the fights. It was a good thing they did put some in in the full release or else it wouldn't have been as awesome.

First of all I loved all the environments. Second of all why do they show the lame ass shotgun? The freaking stake gun was sick. And third of all use cheats to stop things from disappearing it makes the game a hell of a lot more awesome.

The comments are pretty straight-foreword. Let's face it, the combat and gameplay in Painkiller itself is nothing too elaborate much on. There isn't really much else to say except that you shoot awesome looking monsters and demons with big and savage weapons. That's pretty self-explanatory. You can't say too much about it, and dig into that much without repeating yourself.

First of all, Painkiller was better on PC. Secondly, it wasn't edgy but it was ALWAYS fun. Finally, X-play have the worst taste of music in the world, Black Sabbath deserved to be the main characters let alone the theme song.
