  • I don't give a shit what anyone says about the milli vanilli scandal. The songs were great. If anyone was given the opportunity to make millions to lip synch, they would have done the same thing that Rob and Fab did. Yes, they created illusions and they did a great job. People are fucking haters. RIP Rob Pilatus.

  • What did this band give us? Catchy rhythms, harmless lyrics, just a lot of fun as the 80s were winding down. I could care less what the actually singers looked like. So funny that this was such a "controversy" back then, especially since 20-sme years later we have abortive garbage like Rebecca Black.

  • has a lil "Blood Sweat & Tears" lick to it.....who cares if they didnt sing on the records....its all about showbiz anyway.....

  • @bilelrouabhia2008 When "All Or Nothing" came out as a single, it came out in a remixed form, which was this version. The record label felt it would help better the song's chances on radio stations.

  • What's absolutely funny about this song is how downright perverted the original version of this was on the album, basically, the whole song's lyrics were originally an oddly graphic metaphor for sex. No doubt, they had to do some new vocals and lyrics for when it came out as a single, it wouldn't have worked on radio in its original album version.

  • they ARE GREAT !!!!! for me its only one Milli Vanilli.... R.I.P Rob ! <3

  • yeaahhh man , cool adaptation for All Or Nothing

  • I remember this one too! haha

  • reminds me 29 yrs ago.... :) beat up my heart....

  • Man, I can feel my shoulders pressing against the floor when from doing the windmill listening to this. Man, I wanna hit the floor and work it out!

  • i had all their mixes back in the day, but my friend broke all of it. say what you want, the music was good.

  • No, it wasn't.

  • then why are you even here? all or nothing, it's got to be...

  • it's fascinating. they were created, one could argue, by the demand of the music listening public. the same public destroyed them. and it was crappy music.

  • i agree i dont see why everyone is so quick to hate...i dont fucking care who did or did not sing it...its good music ill listen with no shame all day

  • @TRBNGR666

I know right? I'm glad I ain't no hater. I loved all their songs, but my favorite song out of all is Baby Don't Forget my Number. RIP Rob P

  • you right bro

  • @TRBNGR666 suicide? i wonder....hmmm...

  • @TRBNGR666

I agree and it seems, most people do so, but back in the days people thought differently. Today Playback is absolutely normal and even great and good singers use playback. I think it also has something to do with all the movements. In the end, Milli Vanilli was and still is good music and I think everyone should honour that.

  • two way street.. the voices behind this were being paid!!

  • So were both Rob and Fab boffing that bird? Lucky bastards.

  • too bad the studio singers were too fat/old/ugly to be in the videos

    MILLI VANILLI 4 LIFE!!!

  • Can anyone tell me what soul/R&B song this song sounds like? I've heard it on 70s R&B stations.

  • Something form Soul to Soul maybe? Keep on Moving?

  • Spinning Wheel

  • Yes thanks. Blood Sweat & Tears - Spinning Wheel. I wonder why they didn't sue them? Check out the video from Suicidal Tendencies - "I'll Hate You Better". It also sounds like BS&T.

  • Blame it on greedy global musical producers powers that be not on Pilatus and Morvan and the original singers. But thank god for mp3 and open source. It's a redemption for them.==tbc==....

  • Fabrice Morvan is French, he's born in the French West-Indies island called "Guadeloupe". I met him once when I was in Frankfurt (where he's currently living I think ). He's a GREAT guy!

  • Their history is not the one.

Nowadays, there is several artists like then...

  • fakeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • yeah!! this is an awesome old skool jam. I used to worship these guys! ... wish things could have worked out differently for them. RIP Rob

  • kick ass song, so funky!!!

  • Hey everybody April 2nd will make 11 years since Rob died. So lets all remember him.

  • Each year I remember this date. I know that Rob is waiting for us in the paradise

  • I sure wish he were still here. I dedicate my page to him.

  • This is my new account, my "misspilatus" account got deleted so check out my Milli Vanilli/Rob and Fab vids I uploaded all over again!

  • @ljohrcker Nah, he's really probably not.

  • I'm in the gloomy mood today, think of the beautiful late Rob Pilatus...

  • I miss him so much! I can't stop watching these Milli Vanilli videos!

  • @misspilatus

They're still a legend. Love those guys! RIP Rob P

  • man... they love white girls.....

  • Well Rob grew up in a majority white country, Germany and said he felt like an outcast since there was no black community.

  • i love this song and video, connie

  • Faked artists were routine in the music industry since the 60s when the Monkees were pretending to play on their own albums. In the 70s, it was rare for an album to feature actual musicians in a group in the dance music genre. It was mostly studio musicians and studio vocalists, with models posing on the album covers. I didn't know that in '89, so I was annoyed like everyone else. Today, I think Rob and Fab got a raw deal. I bet nothing has changed even since then.

  • Around that time pitch-correcting fx came around and it no longer mattered if you could sing or not. Look at Madonna.

Now that auto-tune robotic voice thing isn't even a secret, it's a gimmick. Chris Brown owes his career to it.

  • poor impostors!!!

  • What I don't get was, what was all the hoopla about them being fake was all about? They gave the people exactly what they wanted? Sex Appeal, the ability to sing, great bodies, etc!! Most of which 99% of the worlds population will ever achieve all at once anyway!! So what was the big deal!! If anything it humanized them!!!! To which we all should have been able to relate to!!!

  • What really made it such a problem, particularly in U.S., was that they were 1989's biggest group. Unlike in the rest of the world, Rob & Fab were not only actually credited on the records in U.S. as the singers, but even given the moniker "Brothers Of Soul". So when they won the Grammy, this was a problem because from the board's point of view, the U.S. label had misled them about who was singing. Europe was used to lip-synching on dance music, the U.S., more adverse to dance, wasn't back then.

  • You should also understand that from the very beginning, the the U.S. press hated Milli Vanilli's music. They always hate dance music since disco and dismiss it as lightweight, computerized, and disposable. Some black urban U.S. media also often ridiculed them for their fashion and their thick accents and that white women were in some of their videos. Plus, since Rob & Fab were out in front & did most of the interviews, particularly in the U.S., they were the easiest targets to point fingers at.

  • Thats true.

  • Fab almost got hit by a car running after that girl! lol

  • DONDE CONSIGA ESTA ROLA

  • This is a cool version (not the original mix). When the album was out I heard this prior to it's release as a single and I couldn't believe how long it took to get released. Arista released 3 or 4 other tracks first.

  • the chorus sounded exactly like Blood, Sweat & Tears "Spinning Wheel"

  • wow, I don't even care if they were fake. This brings me back to being a kid. I still remember this song.

  • I hope Farian is happy with all his money. Can't take it with you buddy. What happened to Rob was HIS fault. He used Rob and Fab and threw them away. Both were beautiful and talented and could have done so much. He cares about no one...only money. What goes around...comes around.

  • Frank Farian eat a dick. You produced some good tunes but you are an asshole!!

  • milli milli milli vanilli vanilli vanilla

  • I miss that time!

  • is this a remix? cause the original isnt that nice

  • Yes. When it came out as a single, it was remixed.

  • I'll take nothing, thanks.

  • Better than most of the crap we can hear over the radio on a dayly basis.

The saddest part of this is that Rob Pilatus, killed himself after the Milli Vanilly scandal and low profile on their desperate try with the Rob&Fab Project.

Anyway they were just toys in hands of Producer Frank Farian that together with the Media actually killed Pilatus.

    Great Pop Music...Saddest Ending Group.

    watch?v=il5U6gm5bM4&feature=related

  • Rob and Fab were just two appealing youngsters just to commercializing the products: The songs.

US retards were just unable to comprehend the way industry was working, and reacted as stupids when Farian told them the "secret", starting a Whitch Hunting against them that actually killed Rob Pilatus victim of drugs abuse.

US Media acts reactively against whatever it comes from the other part of the Athlantic, when the profits are dragged outside of the Country.

US Air Force Deal to Airbus...LOL

  • Me too

  • ROB RLZ!

  • milli vanilli are awesome

  • geniale !!!

  • MILII VANILLI -THE BEST

  • the first version of all or nothing was based on the 'paid in full' beat [same one used for girl you know its true and baby dont forget my no] and was on their original first album. for the use remix album, or side 2 of 2x2 if you were in the uk, there was a remix which still used this beat for the chorus. the above version used a new beat and the video was hastily put together as the comment re their lip syncing was due shortly...

  • Actually, when I say "original radio version", I mean what we got initially here in Venezuela, which was not necessarily what was aired in the US or Europe, but it was for sure on their "All or Nothing" album (here in Venezuela the "Girl you know it's true" record was not available on cassette or LP format).

  • Thanks for uploading this video! It just makes me wonder how many versions they made of each of their songs. The original radio version was radically different. This one is at times what I got on the US Remixes album, but some parts are quite different as well. I wish the video had more dancing, but anyway it's very enjoyable. Thanks again...

  • This actually the video from the Girl You Know It's True, it's not All or Nothing at all, except for the music in the background was added. I think this was the New York Subway Version of girl you know it's true. They just threw the all or nothing music (remix) in from the Remix Album. It still looks good though.
