this show can really give you a very poor opinion of your fellow man lol. aside from the racism and bigotry and sexism seen in nearly every episode, those beastly people wouldn't even take one child unless it was to 'get work out of' one or turn one into a prostitute. disgusting. weren't any of THEM children? once?

Not that taking a child in is to be taken lightly but come on! Look at what mike was willing to do, not the best judgment but certainly big on heart- at least she DID something.

Myra said in another episode that she had been 13 when her mother died and as she was the oldest child, she had to find ways to get money. ...So she must have been rather young when she met Hank...that's a guess.

LOL! I noticed that too -- Sully giving the Reverend a dirty look when the Rev touched Dr. Mike. Of course, in the last episode, it was supposedly OK for Catherine to be hugging on Sully; but now, the Reverend just touches Michaela's shoulders, and Sully's all jealous! LOL! I must admit that "Jealous Sully" is pretty entertaining! ;-)
