I have seen this "sounds like a man" comment fairly often, and suppose it is fair enough. Yet, It was her speaking voice that nailed my attention, first thing, as I love her voice, but true it isn't so sweet and feminine. I like her comedy as well, as this girl can really be a hoot. She can make a face like a dragon, can look "Asian" for fun and piss people off, wear fugly clothes, no helmet on bike, etc. She rocks my boat, but can see how many would dislike her as a freaking "role model."

Yes, I appreciate Miley's voice very much, and I like the idea she isn't totally into being sweet and nice. Some claim she is a bad role model, but her role is to inspire, not be a goody two-slippers and this can be seen in spades with all the people contributing to Youtube due to Miley's influence. Would like to see her do more to annoy the PC crowd, such as put on a black face like Al Jolson and sing a duet with a black dude. Even her haters can be fun to watch sometimes, due to MC.

Plus for her it's all about being able to relate to the person she is with, and about that person being mature. Thats not happening in most 16 yr old guys. Justin is actually very good for her. He is quiet, unassuming, not given to drugs/alcohol and basically stays out of her limelight, except what she allows him. cant ask for better.

Well I heard her say she wasn't allowed to date someone over 18. This was on Ryan Seacrest about maybe 8 months ago? But I think it had more to do with how her mother felt about things rather than her father. Fast-forward to September and she is dating Justin, so the situation must of changed. Assuming the relationship is platonic in nature, the difference in age of 4 years is hardly earth-shattering. Couple that with Miley being very mature for her age, and it really isnt all that bad.
