  • Diffusers on stock cars like a Mini do not produce downforce. They cant. There is no way the upper airstream can reconnect with the airstream from under the car before the air becomes turbulant. What diffusers on stock cars can do, is reduce drag. Reducing drag and turbulant air from under the car can reduce lift (all road cars apart from high end sports cars produce lift), but it does not need a diffuser to do this, just a smooth underside to the car will do the same thing.

  • Too bad the Mini is as aerodynamic as a brick. Looks like the rear wing will produce downforce though.

  • jesus. First time a see a firm take their products seriously. How does the diffuser perform?

    thanks for uploading the video

  • LOL. The products have been out for a long time. The car has NC plates...M7 is in SoCal. Looks like an owner of M7 parts took it to a wind tunnel and took the video - it doesn't really show anything substantive.

Further, the data given doesn't mean anything without knowing the baseline numbers WITHOUT M7 parts. For all I can tell, there was more downforce in stock form.

  • WOW, serious M7 hater. I was going to write on my comment If they had done tests with no aero, it be great to have a good complete report.

  • guess you're new to M7. It's HYPE-HYPE-HYPE. They claimed aero benefits before even knowing if there were any. Marketing pwns you

  • Awesome! You guys putting Peter's R56 in there too?
