Honestly Raymond, this is just a question, not a rebuttal. But I've been to Hong Kong a couple of times and Wanchai seems an unlikely setting for an Irish Pub. Are you sure this is not in Victoria? Thanks.
Oh, and thanks for the video. Brought back some great memories. I have visited some the pubs in Victoria ( which is the reason for my previous question ) and it was a wonderful experience for a young ( then ) American. I highly reccommend it. But DO NOT let the Brits talk you into a game of darts. Heh...heh. Thank you.
The Canny Man is a Scottish pub, not Irish. It's in the basement of the Wharney Hotel, Lockhart Road, right in the heart of Wanchai. So there's more to the area than rip-off girlie bars!
Thanks for the reply, raymond. Wish I had known it was there when I was ( although that was over thirty years ago ). Would have much preferred it to the girlie bars. Sadly, I only saw the seedy side of Wanchai.
Definately a much-loved and popular traditional drinking ditty perfomed with regularity @ Sweet Rosie O'Grady's Pub and Grill in The Big Apple.
One can't help but get up and dance to this delightfully fun reel. I really enjoy these jam sessions as they do my my heart a lot of good and hvae lifted my spirits...one of the many charms of the folk tune tradition.

It's so easy now, just using a little camera. The quality of the video is not great, but it does get the atmosphere across. Thanks for dropping by.

It's great to hear these old dance tunes. I do attempt to play them on the fiddle too, but I find it hard to keep up.
