Hi, Jen - Never bias to bias. When you sew the half square triangles to the center square it is bias to straight of the grain, so you don't have to worry about streatching. And the outside edge is also straight of grain. Happy quilting! Deb

Deb, love all the rulers I've tried of yours and these Youtube videos, Thanks! Thinking of getting this one and have a quick question - although I'm cutting triangles, I'm never sewing on the bias, correct?
