These segments are so edifying. It's wonderful to hear Lithgow read - his ability to make written poem SOUND so good is unsurpassed. It can completely reorient the reluctant listener's attitude from "poetry is stupid" to "poetry can be awesome." Will be showing this to my high-schoolers.

Thank you, Carol, for sharing these six segments. I enjoyed the readings immensely. I was so disappointed that I didn't get to see John's one man show in April. Now I feel like I have had a little taste of it.
