tipping is idiotic . the guy in walmart doesn't get tipped for find you your product or to even return the correct change... why should anyone else get tipped. there is a reason why there is minimum wage. and if the person doesn't get the tip amount equal to the minimum wage the employer has to cover the difference. that is the law. stop tipping. and those disagree get a better job. learn a trade and you will make a lot more money then serving food. but be happy with what you earn.dontexpectmore

i dont see the point in tips, they did what they are paid to do and they got paid. why should the waiter (for example) treat two customers differently because of money, to me, thats a sign he or she dosn't like or respect their customers. also if one person tips £20 and the next only tips £2 then the waiter will think he has a problem with him. and while on a cig break one worker will say "i got tipped £300 this week" and the other might sy "i only got £150" the first will just laugh at him.

"Most" countries?? Not at all... In Europe people get paid enough for their job, so tipping is something only done when there is an extraordinary service performed. It's certainly not expected. It's a much better system that way. No carrying small change around here just in case you need to tip.

I use to carry mi bags and dont tip. In restaurants i give the 15% or a little more when the service is above the expected. Usually i tip 8 or 10% for a regular one and give nothing [or just left some coins] if is really bad.
