I hate seeing Kataang fans on Zurtara videos. Honestly, in my opinion, I see Aang as some what childish. Not that it's a bad thing, I mean, even towards the end I didn't fully believe he had 'matured'. And through this, Katara has matured and Zuko has changed immensely. I feel as if Aang just didn't grow up enough. I prefer Zutara than Kataang for this reason and many more. So Kataang fans, go to a Kataang video and realize that people have reasons for why they like Zutara than Kataang.

Unfortunately, everyone who was let down by the lack of Zutara feels that there were multiple reasons why Aang and Katara did not belong together. In your case, that Aang had not "matured" enough.

The only reason I can see for killing Zutara on the part of the writers is that this is a kid's show. Exceptional, sure, but catering to a younger crowd. Aang was always going to get Katara, because that was the inevitable happy ending that the show had to end with. In real life, I imagine Katara would have wound up Aang's best friend, and Zuko's girlfriend. Zuko is the same age, more mature, and more interesting. And despite the cliche, girls often go for the bad boy.

Katara is 14. Get your facts straight. Zuko is 16. Aang has EXISTED for 112 years but has only ACTUALLY LIVED 12 (13 by the series end as shown in the Graphic Novel Trilogy "The Promise" which directly follows the show). Chronologically he is older, yes, but biologically Katara is, but at their respective ages they would both be at roughly the same point in puberty. Get your facts right.
