I have an Akita that is 11 years old and he doesn't show the signs of arthritis, but it is about 50 degrees in the winter during the day, is that too cold for him to be outside for long periods of time? I also have a sheppard mix and he is the same age, his coat is thinner, is 50 degrees too cold for him to be outside?
What a sweet dog. Don't feel too bad, I'm old and have stiff joints too. :)
