Chalfant's voice is too thin and lacks power. He has a nice voice, but Arnel is a powerhouse when it comes to his range and capacity. Arnel squashes Chalfant in that category & K.F is good.
@debbiechickie5 the reason..kevin cannot do Jamison,Anne Wilson,Steven Tyler,Lou Gramm,Cetera,Toto etc. the only thing that Kevin do is to be Perry or Chalfant.
@debbiechickie5 because arneil has a stronger voice and knows how to work the stage, hey Journey made top ten touring act in the United states during 2008-09 and they over 44 million for the 2008 tour alone. Two number one hit with their new songs and sold about a million cd's by now. Their CD hit #1 on the billboard 5 weeks in a road. Kevin has a ok voice but not great, even if arneil ok voice, i dont think he would got the job, but Journey was looking for something different
