  • For '777rani777'

Indian cream is the cream u get after boiling milk for a long time.

Usually the creams (which can be used for Indian cooking) available here are got in cartons just above milk in the grocery store. It will say "cream". I use Lucerine brand. If there is any other additional name in front of the 'cream' word on the carton, it is not the one you want. So, check for 'cream'.

    Good luck!

    =)

  • love it !

  • YUMMMMM

my vah reh vah chef is the super duper bestest # 1 chef in the world:D

    thx a gazillion :)

  • try heavy cream

  • indian cuisine has to be my favourite. So many rich flavours

  • PLEASE!!!! HELP!!! Tell me some one plz wich cream i can use in USA, i tried whip cream , but it is too sweet:( wich cream to use??????SOS

  • Try heavy whipping cream, you can buy it at walmart. It's in a plastic bottle great value brand and it's cost about $2. HTH..

  • you just use regular heavy cream not the whipped one.!!

  • whipped cream?? i think the recipe calls for something more along the lines of the cream you would use for your coffee found in the milk section. hope that helps

  • heavy cream...

  • just go for simple single cream (not sweetened)

  • You can use some sour cream. You also get diet version of sour cream. It gives some sourness to the dish. They are available in all grocery stores in US

  • You can use Heavy cream usually has half n half written on the packet..its pretty visible.

  • •Double cream is the name in Britain for a very rich cream — containing 48% butterfat

•Whipping cream in this country, by contrast, contains between 30% and 40% butterfat

•Single cream in Britain is comparable to American half and half (and may also be called pouring cream), with between 10% and 12% fat.

  • do not use any cream, just put 3-4 spoons of half n half.. that shud do it..

  • hmmm, you're not using whipping cream from a can or "cool whip" are you? You're supposed to use the small pint sized carton of whipping cream...it's like half n half

  • i wanna see dis video.. tis video is no longr avlable .. sob sob!!

  • yummy!

  • It was very sweet watching you. I am going to try this recipe. I just saw some ladies showing this recipe too. How weird was it.

  • We tried this recipe substituting paneer with soft tofu. Thanks for the recipe.

  • did that work? i don't know how easily i can find paneer in my grocery store but i have a lot of tofu in my fridge. i think paneer is firmer than tofu though

  • am going to make it now..thank god..i have most of the stuff needed to prepare it. You are SIMPLY superb

  • I love you VahChef!!! Especially for this recipe. I add extra chilli powder & its just perfect! My family isn't much into paneer, but they love this dish.

  • In this Matar Paneer dish, your paneer had spots on it. Did you prepare paneer a special way in advance?
