hi.....i am glad to say thank u for ur wonderfull dish...i tried dis reciepe yes'day and it was really awesome ..... i got a real restuarant taste.......thank u sooo much....
thanks a lot ! now i can make something different but i live in ukraine and "kusturi maithi" is not available here.any other thing i can put in palce of this.
You are savior! awesome! I can proudly say that I can make something that's even better than any restaurants around here. My husband just loves this dish, and it has become my specialty. Thanks a ton :) btw, I have tried your palak paneer, veg biryani, and moong dosa too (instant hit). thanks for the gr8 work.
My boyfriend cooked this for me tonight. OMG It turned out so awesome that I cannot describe it! You are an amazing chef.. Thank you so much to share your talent and recipe with everybody..
OMG! My boyfriend cooked this for me tonight. He followed each and every step of this recipe as you showed. It turned out soooo awesome that I cannot describe.. You are a genius.. and a great chef..I wish I could give you all the stars in the universe! Thank you for sharing this amazing recipe..
I tried the recipe. It turned out really great and its far far better than the regular matar paneer sabzi that we usually make at home. I love the recipe. U rock!!
Indian cream is the cream u get after boiling milk for a long time.
Usually the creams (which can be used for Indian cooking) available here are got in cartons just above milk in the grocery store. It will say "cream". I use Lucerine brand. If there is any other additional name in front of the 'cream' word on the carton, it is not the one you want. So, check for 'cream'.
whipped cream?? i think the recipe calls for something more along the lines of the cream you would use for your coffee found in the milk section. hope that helps
You can use some sour cream. You also get diet version of sour cream. It gives some sourness to the dish. They are available in all grocery stores in US
hmmm, you're not using whipping cream from a can or "cool whip" are you? You're supposed to use the small pint sized carton of whipping cream...it's like half n half
did that work? i don't know how easily i can find paneer in my grocery store but i have a lot of tofu in my fridge. i think paneer is firmer than tofu though
I love you VahChef!!! Especially for this recipe. I add extra chilli powder & its just perfect! My family isn't much into paneer, but they love this dish.
Dearest Vahchef, Thank you thank you thank you. Your presentation on making this marvelous dish is outstanding.
How nice of you to share your knowledge.
I've got to learn to make this dish as anytime I now buy some for myself, two of my sons always beg for some of mine (and I end up buying 2-3 orders of this)
hey chef thanks for all the delicious recepies!! Just wanted to know which brand of cream do you use in your curries, your help on the same will be highly appreciated :)
Hey Chef ..... thanks a ton for all the amazing videos. Jsut wanted to know which brand of cream would you recommend for using in gravies and where can one get it? Your help on the same would be appreciated !
a cheese very similar to cottage cheese, but with most of the liquid pressed out of it so the result is a fresh milk cheese that is firm and can be cut into cubes.

•Double cream is the name in Britain for a very rich cream — containing 48% butterfat
•Whipping cream in this country, by contrast, contains between 30% and 40% butterfat
•Single cream in Britain is comparable to American half and half (and may also be called pouring cream), with between 10% and 12% fat.

In this Matar Paneer dish, your paneer had spots on it. Did you prepare paneer a special way in advance?
It is such a pleasure to watch your recipes. You have a nice way of presentation and whosoever is editing, is doing a great job too.
Thanks
