  • Comment removed

  • wow he look bruce campbell he can play evil dead 4 the replacement of ash

  • as a fan of evil dead i can honestly say the songs in this show are terrible. the lyrics are beyond lame...

  • @ThatHauntFreak2 What was that you say? Evil Dead? Campy!?

    HOLY IDIOT, BATMAN

  • @LaughJester9000

There's campy, and then there's uninspired, face-palmingly bad.

  • @LaughJester9000 hahahahahahahahaah!

  • best song ever!

  • I saw some people put this on before

    It kicked ass

  • OMG, love it! The movie was hilarious and so was this! Love it! What college put this on? I totally want it to come to Ohio....

  • lol HAHA

  • "What the fuck was that??" Hm, that's exactly what I said the first time I ever watched this movie.

    What the FUCK was that??

  • @helmetboyvsreporter yessir kato is the best.

  • This play is awesome. A local college did it and it was possibly the funnest play I've ever been to, sitting in a "splash zone" where the actors would partially integrate us into it, hiding behind us, using us as human props etc.

  • @flare561 Kato?

  • love.

  • lol :D

  • ... :O Thats awesome! xD

  • omfg they did it at a town near me and I didn't learn about it until the last day, which is today Halloween

    Fuuuuuuuuuuuuccccccccccccckkkkkkkkkkk

come back to PA again please

  • Bring The Evil Dead Musical To London's West End.

  • I saw this show last summer! I got to sit in the splatter zone too! Only thing was they sprayed us with plain water instead of fake blood, which was disappointing, but the show still rocked!

  • this might be the single greatest Musical idea ever!! andrew lloyd webber you can fuck off :)

  • What the fuck was THAT!?

  • What the freak eakkk eakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk??? XD

  • Is this really necessary? I know that's not Bruce Campbell.

  • She just ripped my pre-ripped abercombe!

I got some shelly on my shoe!

  • love it

  • @MyCellPhoneAteYou in fact, if it were explosions that i seek, i wouldnt be an Evil Dead fan, would i? it's just that i absolutely abhor musicals. you get all into the movie or show or whatever, and BAM! they bust out into song! it really detracts from the atmosphere. so i guess my comment had no more point than yours, really...i mean, did you even watch that? if you did maybe u would know where i was coming from lol

  • @MyCellPhoneAteYou i can pay attention and have a certain disdain for movies w/ 2 many special FX. it's just that horror movies now rely upon A.) fx that are 2 glossy in appearance B.) the "twist" ending that we all see coming because it's criminal how overdone it is, like The Ring and Fear Dot Com were basically the same movie as well as the hordes of others and C.) lack of originality (i.e. the NEW Freddy movie.

  • @SweetGoth .... What The FUCK ARE U TALKING ABOUT!?!?!?!

  • @XMIKEX0 not 4 u 2 worry bout it...it was a reply to someone who responded negatively to one of my posts.

  • I.M.Meanskau

    Nice vid by TorNis7.

  • Ah im so jealous! I hope it comes to Aus!

  • This looks like something i might just like. Altough, "Ash" looks kind of young.

  • yeah...seriously...wtf was that? i LOVE evil dead but it would take a lot for me to sit thru a musical...like maybe some chains and those things that keep your eyes open like in Clockwork Orange...

  • soz i know were its playing !

  • wow !! what a cool idea!! wers it playing??

  • lol i just got my ticket like a minute ago front row! going to see it march 19th!!!!

  • Splatter Zone. <3

  • Oh my God! That was freaking hilarious! I so want to see the show now!

I didn't even know it existed.

  • wow...this is actually good !! MOAR NAO!

  • Moar!

  • This is a must see!!! I got to see it in Calgary...but make sure you sit in the splatter zone!!! By the end, I was covered in fake blood....literally dripping!!!!

  • Is this still playing?

  • this has to be the most epic thing ever

  • this show is kick ass i seen it tooo

  • I saw the show i loved it! I sat in the front row and got covered in blood.

this show was an EPIC WIN for me!

  • now who the hell came up with the idea of making this a musical

  • a comedian i forgot his name!

  • OMG!! Why am I just now finding out about this!? I've got to see it!!!

  • GROOVY

  • Sorry, but you have no idea what you're talking about. I saw this show twice, and it was amazing. If it was still on I'd go see it 10 more times. By far the COOLEST musical in a looooooong time.

  • If it was still on in Toronto I meant

  • i totaly agree with you! i saw it and it was so epic! i would go see this every night and not get tired of it.

  • that was fucking EPIC

  • what was funny about the one in my area was that they had a... flamboyantly gay guy playing the part of a strong, tough manly guy.

  • This is theatre, what did you expect?

  • This is so hilarious! I wish it were longer xD

  • The fuck was that?

  • lol funny

  • I have splatter zone tickets for this on Saturday the 31st! Killer!

  • THEY ARE NOT FUCKING ZOMBIES, TTHEY ARE CANDARIAN DEMONS!!!!!

    But I do LOVE ash

  • thank you

  • EVIL DED IS FINALY IN VANCOUVER :D

  • And my point, ktown4life1337 is that they are possessed humans called deadite, look up deadites on urban dictionary or the Evil Dead Wiki.

  • I agree with you. i hate it when people call the zombies, ktown4life1337 is a freakin idiot. evil dea trilogy is awsome.

  • And Bruce Campbell explains in Commentary, (found here on youtube) that the original title was the Book of the Dead, but one of thier agents said they should change it to the Evil Dead. At the time, Evil Dead didn't make any sense to them so says Campbell, but they went with it anyway.

  • O.O LITERALMENTE WTF !!

  • I wish so much that people would stop calling them zombies. They are not zombies. They are possessed by the evil demons who have been recalled to active life.

  • there's 2 types of zombies, the original slow paced retarded zombie, and then the inspired dirrectly from hell and is a sort of demon type of zombie. the term zombie refers 2 the walking dead, which is exactly what they are. they're recalled 2 life, but not active life, they're not alive, cause they're already and once were dead. hence once again the term "walking dead"

  • Dude, in the first movie, The Evil Dead, the professor on the tape recorder (named Professor Knowby in the sequels) tells that the book of the dead deals with demons. Spiritutal demons. And that they could be recalled to ACTIVE LIFE through the incantations presented in the book. And those who are possessed aren't dead unless they get cut up or the demon's been inside of them for like a long time. The Evil Dead refers to the demoic spirits who were slumbering (dead) but were called back to life.

  • Lmfao, and? your point? you don't honestly think that evil dead is the first zombie movie ever right? Lol or even the first zombie movie 2 have the type of zombie you're attempting 2 argue about right? Lol obviously not. you know nothing of zombies. I wont be reading your reply, cause you obviously know piss all lol.

  • I never said The Evil Dead was the first zombie movie or the type I'm arguing about because THEY ARE NOT FREAKING ZOMBIES!!! They are PEOPLE WHO ARE POSSESSED BY DEMONS. And anyway, what the heck did anything I said have to do with arguing about what zombie movie was the first? When I say the first movie, I mean the first of the Evil Dead trilogy. Not the first movie ever about zombies. Reread my post!

  • This is so cool and funny. I so want to see this!

  • me 2..love the song wtf was that......sooooooo freakin bomb

  • I want to see this.

  • ok...i am a huge evil dead fan...huge. And i love most of the spin offs of the franchise(freddy vs jason vs army of darkness comics///marvel zombies vs army of darkness) and i love musicals.....i just dont know how i feel about this. i would probably see it if ever in new york. and i would probably watch it if there were a dvd. but i still dont know how i feel about this. its a very interesting premise i will give them that, but can anyone other than bruce really portay ash?

  • I saw it last year for my birthday in Toronto. It was SO good. A lot of people have seen it so many times that they sing along. My brother saw it twice XD. The first half is not as gorey as the second half. The second half is win the throw blood in the crowd. So if you ever DO watching somehow, and score tickets to the front row -- make sure you're wearing cheap clothing, that you don't care to get a lil blood on it :P.

  • yes..

  • Coming to Norfolk! Fuck yes.

  • LOL!!!! she just ripped my pre-ripped abercrombie!! this musical is so clever! lol i love it!

  • hahahaa WTF!

  • Yay its coming to oregon

  • My god, I wish I could have witnessed this!!!

  • I've written a comedy zombie musical with the zombie twins from "Shaun of the Dead". It's 60's music and power ballads, metal and blues. Look up "Zombies of the Revolution" (search). Hopefully we can stage it one day. A certain 1968 movie's a strong influence...this show's done OK.

  • what the fuck is it?

  • Ну и пиздееец.....0_0

    Oh sheeeeeeeeeeeeet

  • no pyccku Rzuk!

  • This looks HILARIOUS! I wish I was in New York to see this!

  • I saw a local production of it and it was hilarious. I don't know how it compares to this one but I think that the singing was better in the one that I saw.

  • Goatimus, where are you located? The production I saw recently is playing here in the Cleveland area till the end of July.

  • I saw the one in Lakewood at the Beck Center

  • That's the one I saw, with Dan Folino as Ash. GREAT SHOW!!!

  • that is the funniest thing ever! they need bruce though...

  • They actually have Bruce's AND Sam Raimi's blessings for this, naturally.

  • that was hilarious!

  • Who the fuck do you think you are?

  • No Fun, serious business all the time.

  • douche bag!

  • LOL, you're a douche.

  • prick

  • The entire point of ED:tM, was the idea "How can we take the piss even further than we have already?", it's not meant to be anything other than campy fun with blood, guts and a really good Ash impersonator. Lighten the fuck up, just because you're 'grown' up doesn't mean you have to be a a surly fuckwit who looks down on anything that's not 'mature'. Hell, if maturity is anything like you, I might as well kill myself before I hit thirty!

  • I'm almost 37 years old, and I saw a production of this show in Cleveland, OH, AND I LAUGHED MY ASS OFF!!! Whoever that is obviously needs to lighten up, have some fun in their life, & stop being such a judgemental TW-T!!!!

  • keep saying in that. in the meanwhile.... keep choking on america's cock..... Biiiaaaatttcchhhh

  • Sure. Canadian pop culture is so annoying that it spawned shows in New York, Virginia, and California as well as Korea! You are a dumbass sir. You wouldn't know a good show if you sat through it. A lot of people actually enjoy the musical because THEY HAVE A SENSE OF HUMOR! Your comment actually seems to be more immature than the musical itself sir.

  • this musical is coming to my city next month. 137 dollars for 2 splater zone tickets! is it really worth it?? please sombody let me know!

  • it's absolutely worth it. saw this show in Toronto and sat in Splatter. I think my tickets were only like $55 each but it's definitely an experience you wont' forget. Wear a white Evil Dead shirt!

  • HELL YEAH goin to see it june 14th got splatter zone seats

  • Time for a road trip. Where is it showing?

  • im in calgary but its also in toronto and NY i think

  • Deffo! I sat in the splatter zone twice! Perfect, and you get a free poncho... if you're a loser!

  • Dude, these hoes been zombified!

  • AWESOME!...or rather...GROOVY!

  • omg XD

  • hope they dint fucked up the movie.

cause its the best horror movie of all time.

  • This musical is made of pure win. I LOVE the movie and I LOVE the musical. I am not sure about the latest cast, but the old one was perfect!

  • me and my friend sing this song all the time. can't wait to see it.

  • I DARE anyone to see this show & try to get this song out of their head for a few weeks. It's.....GROOVY!

  • groovy.

  • Gawd.... I hope its SUPPOSED to be as funny as it is....

  • LOL, I saw this a few months ago in splatter-zone seating and got completely drenched in fake blood. It was awesome. The stunt man, at this one slo-mo fight scene, comes out with a supersoaker. It was the coolest moment of my life.

  • What the F- - - Was That XD

  • Funny!

  • wat the fuck is this..?

  • Just be glad they haven't released "Friday the 13th:The Musical"

  • Harry Manfredini says there won't be one........

How about a Nightmare on Elm Street musical instead? >XD

  • it's awesome thats what it is! have some imagination!

  • Thts rite around the corner.

  • OMG! I neeeeeeeeeed to see this! D:

  • I want to see this SO badly. DX

  • More badass movies need to be converted to plays.

  • I saw this in 2007, I think September, up there in Toronto when I was visiting. I heard about this musical, and I really wanted to see it! I saw it with my family. I was in the WAY back, and I had such an awesome time watching this performance. It was amazing! I plan on going again sometime!! :D I hope I get to sit in the splatter zone then! :]

  • I WANNA SEE IT SO BAAAAD! I live in the US >=(

I wanna see it, and i'll do fine if I watch it on tv or something but I want to be apart of the splatter zone. ='(

  • yeah baby

  • It is soooooo worth it.

I saw it in its home theater in Toronto I sat in the "splatter zone" and got covered in blood.

It was hilarious and really cheap to.

Just make sure you've seen the movies or ou won't get the jokes.

  • Funny, but I probably wouldn't pay money to see it.

  • PLEASE tour the U.S.! PLEASE! I NEED TO SEE THIS! MY OWNING THE CD IS WORTHLESS WITHOUT SEEING THIS SHOW!

  • This is the only musical i would go out of my way and get singing lessons to be in.

  • Come to Los Angeles for FUCKS SAKE

  • Is the musical only showing in Canada? I live in Massachusetts and really want to see this! Can someone tell me if it's coming even remotely close to where I live? Even out-of-state?

  • This had better come to England!!!

  • Sme here

  • This looks awesome i'm in the uk so theres no chance of seeing it :(

  • I saw this 3 times in TO this summer! It was awesome! I admit I wasn't sure I was all that interested at first but this is one of the best shows I've ever seen!

And no, there's no dvd yet... I'm hoping they filmed one of the Toronto shows for that purpose.

  • dont think they made a vid of the toronto show but i saw a clip of the producers saying they were trying to get the rights to make a 3d movie :)

  • I WANNA SEE THIS SO BAD!!! Road trip to Toronto, anyone?

  • Hell yeah! I'll go with you AND pay! Lolz!

  • I was a little put off by the idea of an Evil Dead musical, simply because it sounds kinda ridiculous on paper. However, after seeing some of these clips I can say the show looks hilarious, and hugely entertaining. If the stage show with all the restrictions can come off this well, I have no doubt a film version could be accepted as the best comedy-horror film made. My only concern is I really want Evil Dead 4 to become a reality ASAP.

  • Apparantly Sam Raimi is making this into a 3D movie... (Y)

  • I'm only semi-ashamed to admit I'd be first in line to see that.

  • Dont be ashamed

    BECAUSE ID BEAT YOU THERE...

    lol

    I NEED TO SEE IT!

I live in australia, so ill never see the musical....

    ='(

  • I don't think theres is a dvd version of this...? Life is hard.

  • ha, cool

  • Why are you fighting over youtube? Isn't it a bit pointless and a little on the sad side? Just watch the video clip. (If anyone insults me for saying that is proving that they cant get a life). This Play is great by the way. I just saw it tonight at the Diesel House in Toronto.

  • If you dig 80's style Monster Horror, look up "It Envies the Living" on You Tube for our full length trailer!

  • She just ripped my pre-ripped Abercrombie!!
