  • and uhhhhhhh, so ummmmmmmm, and uhhhhhhhhhh, basically uhhhhhhhh

  • i run slivers and was looking for some good ideas and this one seems weak compared to others ive seen, other then patriarch bidding, and mana echos not much interesting stuff, and yes he used a banned card in here. I have the overlord, queen and the legion, the last one i found was the queen, I bough from the local card shop. got the other stuff on a great trade from a friend who wanted to make his other deck better. it was almost a steal.

  • Changelings in a tribal deck? Cool flavour there... -_-

"But we play for the win!" --> Should have played Sliver Overlord as general if that is your motivation.

  • savage beating would be a good add to this deck... just some food for thought.

  • best part about slivers is its tournament legal

  • @MegaDeathwarrant really? i just read somewhere else that they were all illegal >.> than again i just started and have a infinite myr token deck and graveyard counter black blue deck

  • eazy e on the mic

  • almost on every video u always shows banned cards

  • Paralell lives, Sliver Queen and Mana Echoes. Think about it.

  • do u have a deck list?

  • How is Sliver legion hard to find? Ebays for like 15 bucks

  • Sliver queen is actually the worst sliver general as she does not have any synergy with slivers. Overlord is the best Sliver general.

  • why not use the overlord as the commander so you can tutor out your slivers?

  • I love sliver decks! This looks a lot like my deck except I use Sliver Overlord as the commander/general because he can just search my deck for the queen and I can Tutor for Mana Echoes. I also like the combo of Sliver Overlord, Unatural Selection, and Training Grounds. The combo lets you pay 2 colorless mana to take control of an opponents creature.

Could you please do a video of a Scion of Ur-Dragon deck using mostly a dragon themed deck like Teneb and Numot. I've been trying to build one.

  • CRYPT SLIVER DOESN'T WORK WITH CRYSTALLINE SLIVER IN PLAY

  • Clip your nails man... LOL

  • I know this is a rather late post lol but I really love Slivers and this is my first time seeing a Sliver EDH. One card that I think will be good: Heartstone

  • Well I knew I needed Patriarch's Bidding, but Mana Echoes is definitely replacing my Ashnod's Altar+Heartstone(or being used in addition to). Also Dormant Sliver is much better for card draw than Synapse Sliver.

  • DARK HEART SLIVER! GET IT!

sac a sliver for no cost and get 3 life, such a great card.

Im also having some luck running a door of destinies, good way to boost your, and only your creatures power and toughness, also great with the mana echo and sliver queen combo.

  • Wow, loved it, i'm thinking about make one, could you tell me the lands that are in the "Temple of False God"'s Row, cuz i couldn't read all of them, thanks and congrats!

  • gemhide sliver+heart sliver+mana echoes = infinite tokens :)

  • wo0w....makes me feel lucky, My friend just gave me Sliver Legion for free!

  • Why use Sliver Queen? Wouldn't Sliver Overlord be a much better choice?

  • Hi! I used to play a sliver deck and am just now getting into EDH, I have a few of the key pieces so it should be simple to make. I was wondering if you could send me the deck list. I'll probably change it up just a bit though cause I hate to copy/paste others ideas.

  • it seems you are useing more than 60 cards for some reason

  • @Rikuearth That's because this is EDH or Commander as Wizards has officially called it. It's a casual format, and the decksize is 100 cards, i'm not sure if that's a min or a requirement though.

  • I kinda wanna do this for my next EDH deck (multiplayer), though I was kind of avoiding something that would make me be able to do huge jerkish things (I play a really slow blue white deck currently), or without being something that gets me killed first. This kind of feels like it might be both...

  • @Icarus19911991 i didn't know that

  • slivers are so cheap

  • @x6o4SaVagEx

im not saying there not but there are way cheaper deck types out there.

  • i got a sliver legion from the pack last month

  • Sliver overlord makes a far better general than the Queen. He lets you tutor for other slivers when you need them, allowing you to bring up both the Legion and the Queen quickly. Currently running Overlord as the general, a Legion, and a proxied Queen until I can get one in.

  • @Epochalyptik Ya Overlord is very useful always being able to get what you need when you needed is very useful. Also the sliver that gives all slivers flash just because it lets you do alot of sneaky stuff. Also I feel this deck could go for a heart stone just because it would let him do all his effects for cheaper.

  • I built a sliver deck as my first EDH deck. People hated it and I was deadly, becoming the biggest threat at the playgroup. Then they started building better decks. I'm no longer the biggest threat but they still treat me as one. I guess if i wasn't getting gangbanged by 4 opponents at once. I would still be a threat.

Oh well. I would still like to try a full colorless EDH. that would be fun.

  • I love having a coat of arms + Sliver legion deck :P

  • idk if its been said but wat about training grounds so that u can use sliver queen infinitly with mana echoes?

  • I watched the video about 3 months ago started to buy the cards proxied the rest started to play and made changes to the list as of right now the list is on Essential Magic look for username gadiven if you have any thoughts post here or there.

  • Do you have a decklist?

  • For Slivers I like Harsh Mercy, brother of patriarch's biding.

  • why not overlord instead of queen? he can tutor her up, not to mention the rest of your deck.

  • My friend plays this deck but with Overlord as general. He is currently point leader at our playgroup. Must I say more?

  • As many others have probably said, I'd like to see the decklist, if available.

  • first of all...nice nail:P (no sarcasm)

2nd did you already have or did you buy patriarch's bidding?

  • yeah where can we find this decklist?

  • why isnt the enchantment from 5th dawn that fixes you mana in this deck?

  • why would you ever want to build a sliver EDH deck around anything but sliver overlord??? you get anything you ever need for your win conditions :|

  • What are the 2 lands directly above Rupture Spire? One I cannot be read & the other seems to be in another language.

  • SLY-ver.

  • Hmm That Sliver queen has seen better days? Unless that's the reflection from the sleeve? (which i doubt)

  • what about defense of the heart or tooth and nail?

  • sliver overlord is the best general cuz u can search for sliver quen then you will hav both and u can search for slivers

  • ANATHEMANCER!!!

  • Hey guys could you help me?

You now how theres different editions of booster packs...?

If I buy one type and get a card (any card) and then open another edition, can I use the cards together?

    PLEASEEE HELP! TY

  • Man that sliver queen is quite damaged.. True story

  • The sliver deck could use Sliversmith, but that's just a redundancy of Sliver Queen's effect.

  • Doesn't the Crystilline Sliver turn off some of the other sliver abilities, like Crypt Sliver?

  • Can you send me your deck list?

  • please post the decklist!!!

  • can you post a deck list there are a couple of card that i can not make out??

  • Comment removed

  • Nice deck, but it there a reason you don't run living death and the bidding?

  • Were can I find the list?

  • Why wouldn't you play Sliver Overlord as your General? The overlord can grab the Sliver Queen out your deck... and pretty much pull out whatever sliver you need for the situation.

  • Is the new Sliver deck worth it cuz i love slivers but idk about the hole $40 price on it

  • Using mana echos i think is a more efficient way to get the infinite sliver tokens if you have sliver queen and heart stone. I think running silver overlord would be a better general since you can pull out the queen when you need her since you can search for any sliver with him.

  • sorry what is the name of the land above Rupture Spire??

  • @MrFabriz10 the land above Rupture Spire is a Russian Vesuva

  • nice video. big fan of slivers, and been trying to work on my own edh version. the whole thing about the love for heartstone is actually an infinate combo with: Ashnods altar, Heartstone, and the Sliver Queen. for inf sliver tokens.

  • With decks like That I always play Mirror entity. It's amazing lol. I love that card.

  • slivers never die.

  • kool i have a sliver legion

  • Would the bounce lands be good for cheap mana fixing instead of the refuges?

Also, around how much does this deck cost to make?

  • Cost is around 90-100 depending on how cheap you find the sliver queen :) She costs nearly as much as the entire sliver box. Sliver Legion is your other major investment.

  • @ElderDragonHighlandr

    Sliver Queen is 100 dollars?!

  • @ElderDragonHighlandr Legion would be your best bet if you on a budget, also overlord is not a bad choice ether.

  • @TraumaticEvent Actually no. In the deck shown in the video, most of his lands came into play tapped. The bounce lands come into play tapped and then the land which was bounced comes into play tapped again...

    Just too slow.

  • Thanks guys.

I had received the slivers deck thingy for my B day. ( Dec 26 09) I knew there wasn't enough cards to make a real consistent pauper deck but for EDH seemed like a real good start. Thanks. I made a list of all the cards on the video I didn't have. I think I have carpel tunel now.

  • I was wondering if you could do a quick video of your favorite deck boxes that hold edh decks?

  • @ImminentInfection is this serious? Hard to tell, but I actually do like some of the cool stuff that is available to house the EDH stuff. ??? If others are interested I would consider a quick video for this

  • @ElderDragonHighlandr i was being serious, I have had a hard time finding a good deck box. What kind do you use?

  • we will put it in a video then

  • @ElderDragonHighlandr Thank you very much!

  • @ImminentInfection I second the motion.

  • If you want to add an additional combo to this deck you can add basal sliver and bitter ordial to make an infinite decking win condition. Basal sliver + Queen= infinite sacrifises, so you can copy bitter ordial as many times as you want.

  • cool idea on that one...

  • You can also use Fecundity in addition to be able to draw through you entire deck to find other cards that trigger something whenever a creature enters the battlefield or leaves it, like Dross Harvester, which you can use to gain an infinite amount of life. The Harvester also makes a nice beat-stick for three mana, being able to dodge cheap white removal, and gain you more life from wrath effects.

  • lord, queen, legion, who cares what you play as long as you have fun plsying it! isn't that what edh is all about? if you want a really good deck, play jhoira or rofellos. slivers is fun because they are slivers! i hope they have a legendary ally in worldwake!

  • Allies would be a cool tribal theme...I agree

  • We have a guy locally who managed to mangle together an ally-based EDH deck using Reaper King as the general with Conspiracy and Artificial Evolution to get it working... wasn't bad in our relatively relaxed EDH meta.

  • can you tell me the names of all the sliver decks or is it just the one with necrotic on the front

  • It is my understanding that there is just the one deck series...back in the day there was a starter, though that had a sliver theme. However, this premium series deck has about 50-70% of the stuff you need. It is a good foundation and reasonably priced.

  • thanks just got into the game and saw the deck on sale for like 10 bucks

  • sorry dude, but overlord > queen as general anyday. sure, she sets up the combos, and it wouldn't be the same deck without her, but the overlord tutors for her, plus any other combo pieces. also, he's a lightning rod compared to her- they want to get rid of the overlord first, ignore the queen

  • i disagree,

if you can make 1/1 slivers that gets major boosts by every other sliver, its insane

usually that token comes in with a butt load of ablilties like shadow and poison

While overlord is good with that changling and has a homing sliver effect, its not as great as sliver queen

  • @SpecialAgentArcher Pretty sure that is exactly why I chose the Queen. She is not such a lightning rod and lets me set up the deck's win condition. IF you want more search you could always drop in some of the green tutors like summoners pact or worldly tutor. You dig?

  • by the time you've got your army of sliver tokens, some's either going to wrath the board, set up their own infinite combo, or just plain beat you to death. the sheer power of a sliver deck should only be an alternate wincon, in case you can't get your combos going- i find either infinite milling, a massive infinite-mana fireball or continuous damage gun works better than trying ro-sham-bo them to death

  • You're just wrong on so many levels.

Slivers suffer from one existing major problem already. The stigma, that no matter what, it is inevitable that they will get out of hand unless you are purposely dumbing down your plays. Overlord exasperates that stigma by such a HUGE amount, and is such a silver bullet against your own deck that he actively becomes a liability. In 1v1? I'll take Overlord. Much easier to manage. In MP? Sliver Queen everyday.

  • No heart stone? ur doing it wrong.

  • @vorgralax why does everyone love the old heart stone so much? not 2 sure but feel free to cut a card you hate for ones you love

  • The Sliver Queen looks sooooo f**ked up:):):)

  • @Lightwoida lol....It really is! I got it in a busted card bin for 6 bucks. It is funny along with all of the new foils, but makes for a cool story.

  • Harsh Mercy would be a good easy include for this list, belongs in any Tribal list that runs white.

  • @MrPysces good pick

  • Comment removed

  • yeah overlord is a powerful general as well.

  • I don't get it, you tracked down a Queen and Legion, whic are indeed staples, but didn't even use Overlord a tall? It comes in the premium deck! I like it for the general so that you can search for any sliver from your deck, including Queen for your combos. Also, Dimir Signet seemed really really random, why not a Coalition Relic or something at least? other then that, pretty decent.

  • @scorpious1109 sliver overlord is in fact in the list! The dimir signet just has to do with the fixing for certain colors that are needed. It is not really random. Thanks for the feedback though, we built this on a bit of a budget where we could.

  • @scorpious1109 sliver overlord at 4:17

  • @ElderDragonHighlandr Ah, it was quick, I missed it the first time.

  • This deck is awesome! Mana echoes and sliver queen is big cheats! Hehe =)

  • because there is a combo

  • no heartstone?

  • @Chibixxslave It is okay but there are so many sweet cards that could fit in this build. I just went with some things that are pretty interesting and powerful. There are some different ways to go, but I think you can leave out heartstone and coat of arms, etc. What do others think?

  • Its just theres another combo,

sliver queen, heartstone, gemhide sliver, and haste sliver for infinite tokens

and i haven't tried ajani, but i think coat of arms is just better than +1/+1 counters

  • @Chibixxslave Ajani is a sort of combo with cauldren of souls. You can have creatures persist back and then put the Ajani token on them and they are good as new. Resistance to board wipe was a main goal in deck generation. Rush and one turn kill attacks are tough decks to run and you need alternative answers that will protect your vulnerable creature investments.

  • Why Sliver Queen over Sliver Overlord?

  • @cruciald there are some combo pieces that work with sliver queen. Mana echoes for example gives you a two card combo that can win the game! Check out the synergies. Sliver Overlord is okay but does not offer the win condition opportunities.

  • Yeah I watched, obviously it works well. Just my opinion really, since Overlord would let you fetch the Queen anyways.

  • @cruciald I like to have the combo set up in every game...the overlord moves a two card combo into a pretty expensive three card combo

  • Sliver Overlord can be quite dangerous as a "Sliver" General as well.

Act of Treason effect -> Sliver Overloard -> Pay 3, they now own Sliver Overlord permanently :(

  • @MrPysces word up...that would be aweful! Have you ever seen that happen? That would suck lol

  • Yes, many times. Sliver Overlord is the number 1 stolen General in my playgroup. He hurts as much as he helps any Sliver list. I mean who wouldn't want to steal a Silver bullet against your whole deck? It's the same problem with Karthus, and Dragon tribal decks.

  • cuz of mana echoes
