MJ outdoes him across the (stats) board and did so in a tougher era of the league. While Jordan was far more naturally gifted (bigger body, hands, speed, vertical jump, etc) than Kobe, as he got older and needed to rely on skill, he still outdid Kobe - even in the 'playing through injuries & illness' department. I wouldn't say he is a copycat, but its one of the psycological things that when you learn something from someone, you tend to pick up their habits and how they act, kobe looked up to jordan when he came into the league, he may not even realize alot of what he does that emulates him, but that happens with anyone in nature. its how the brain works, you learn something and you either do what they did or you set that as your "base" and build from that and add your own twist to it.

@jivetome I love you... Fisher has the same amount of rings as kobe does... does that make him better then Dominique Wilkins?? @TheMoparDrvr Kobe avg 31.6ppg in the 2001 WEST playoffs while Shaq avg 29.1ppg. Kobe avg 26.6ppg in the 2002 WEST Playoffs while Shaq avg 26.4ppg. The only reason Shaq's overall postseason numbers are better than Kobe's in 2001 and 2002 is because he feasted in the Finals against weak competition. Kobe performed his best against the Spurs, Kings, and Blazers. While Shaq took care of the trash comin out the east. Kobe is better than Shaq.

@TheMoparDrvr Kobe owned Shaq in stats 2 out of 3 years. Kobe led the team in assists,steals, and was second in point scoring. When I say second i mean Kobe scored 29.4ppg for 1 ring and Shaq scored 29.7ppg that same year.SMH. Kobe should have 3-4 finals mvps by now i swear
