But 90% of hindus & buddhist chakmas were chased by the bengalis muslims to India.They are large number of chakmas in North east india.

There was aproblem with Chakma cmmunities and Bangladesh nearly 15 years ago, it was all about minority right i.e right of chakma and other minorities..NOT ABOUT RELIGION By the way problem was actualy fueled by some of our neibours..
But we the Bangladeshis (includes Bangli,Chakma abd other cmmunities) was able to overcome without any problem through negociation.
What cannot be said about other south Asian Countries, where repration of minority is order of the day.

CHT haven't freed from Bangladesh Governmet yet , I really don't understand why this people carrying a banner saying "INDEPENDENCE DAY 2007, Chittagong Hill Tracts" ! They could have used other words like "free CHT from Muslim ilegal settelers , or " Save Jumma Indigenous people in CHT"

Chittagong is part of Bangladesh, will remain Bangladesh.
Same as other part of Bangladesh, eg. Chittagong Hill Tract.
And the people carring Banner of Indipendence of their won Country. BANGLADESH ..Does Not matter whats their ethnicity...Religion ..etc.
Long live Bangladesh and All Bangladeshi(Bangali, chakma,Mog, Murog, Kuki, Hazog, Saotal etc)
