am lovin the hair. if natural hair works for sum ppl rock it, if processed works then rock it, and stop bashing ppl with processed hair....it still looks good.
this is to thethingkid! Not all people want to walk around with a short hair style and wait for it to grow it back again, girls dont like cutting their hair because for me I would look silly if i cut off my processed hair and only rocked my nnatural hair, natural hair is beautiful but on me i would look like a poodle, im black so my hair is easier to manage with being processed.
hey can you go and check out my videos and tell me what you think about them...and plz send comments messages or anything to request or just tell me what you think...plz subscribe!.thanx!
You do know that that isn't your hair that feels soft but it's the barrier/chemical layer that those products coat your hair with right?
If you want a softness that is really just your hair's natural softness try a mixture of vapor distilled water, rosewater, and coconut milk. I don't know if your hair is chemically straightened, but if it is you should cut it off and start fresh. There is way WAAAY more versatility with natural hair texture than chemically altered. :)
thanks for the rosewater idea but i like my relaxer. i actually had just gone back to relaxing after years of natural and i dont want to cut off my hair or go back. hope u enjoy ur hair cuz i'm enjoying mine
Natural people are getting out of hand, and need to calm down. lol Your hair looks nice, and I would have told you if your hair wasn't. lol An African American man invented the relaxer,so what is the problem ? I think i you know how to use one it's fine, because we going to die bald anyway. LOOl I don't see no one in the grave yard with hair on their heads.
i admire natural hair but i just have trouble keeping it up. i end up just cutting it all off cause its too much. and as far as hair growing, the truth is that when you die the only two things that continue to grow are ur hair and nails. creepy huh ;p lol
Nice review I like biosilk products I had no clue that biosilk was made by the same company as CHI! CHI was kind of heavy on my hair that whole line! Apagee was good when my hair was damaged but once it got healthy I stopped use. But I got back on it if I ever mess my hair up with braids weaves ect. I really want to try the Slik Elements line I currently have not staple products joining the hair care site I've learned I'm using everything I should be staying a way from.. so I'm starting fresh!
i have the biosilk and the silk elements heat protectant...they really ARE amazing....I'd highly recommend these for ANYONE with hair..lol. they make ur hair feel like silk..the names of the products are fitting lol
How is your hair soo bouncy..im juss curious because my sisters hair is flat and she can go upside down n still have her hair at her shoulders! y is that???? what makes the dff. from "flippable" and hard hair...
- if her hair is str8end, its most likely that she has either too much product buildup, or isn't seperating enough hair when flat ironing
- if its curly or nappy, then its probably not well conditioned enough, or has too much product buildup or hair grease. most likely the grease. try a hair oil instead.
Ur sisters hair probably doesn't have that much body bcuz of what she puts IN her hair. Products with petroleum, mineral oil and alcohol can weigh down or stiffen ur hair.
Hi you made a comment that the Ahpogee shampoo in this video may be to strong for you..i also bought this shampoo and i don't care for it.......what did you notice that made you feel that it was not for you...i noticed my hair was still dry
yeah my hair was really dry after washing, even if i did a prepoo and although the conditioner helped i jsut really really missed my profectiv. profectiv is the best brand i've ever used =)
its even better now. rite now, all i use is profectiv products and biosilk silk therapy. i still mix all my conditioners but i'm gonna stick with buying profectiv instead of replacing the others as they run out.
yeah. i thought i was the only one who felt that way about the aphogee. it was horrible for me. i wanna chuck it but i'm mad i spent teh money on something that don't work lolz:(
once a week, NO MORE. sorry, didn't mean to make it look like i was yelling but there isn't a bold print =) if i have extentions in i may go longer but i never wash more than once a week.
its just a normal sew in with hair out for a side part...this was my favorite 1 bc it was long yet believable lol and the bss hair i brought lasted me 3 whole months!!
I like the way the Profectiv conditioner and the sheen feels in my hair. I have a Profectiv shampoo but it's not the anti-breakage/itch its just the regular "stimulating shampoo". But for heat I use Profetiv anti-breakage/strengthener Cream as well as the growth oil, the polish serum and the conditioner.
I have used both those heat protectants and they work great! I have a problem in finding the right fla rion though that wont damage my hair! I use the Tool Science flat iron from Sallys and it straightens my hair but realy dires it out! I saw this new flat iron called FHI Runeway its supposed to not damage hair and be hte best one out there for a high price! Its limited edition so i want to try it soon! Have you heard of it before?
i've heard about fhi. its supposed to be the exact same thing as the gvp version of the chi which i've also heard has been talked about all over the web saying that the plates have been getting over heated and falling off. i'd really be careful with that iron.
like i said, that's just what i heard. if you say it works i believe you but i know they had a recall on the gvp chi and they said that fhi made it. i think the faulty ones were recalled because they're selling them again but i'd becareful about buying one now. urs may be good but u've had it awhile and u know how with the way the economy is going everyone is building outside the US for cheaper labor and cheaper supplies.
don't know if u have Rite Aid Stores near you but they have some of the Profectiv products on sale this week Oct 12 thru Oct 17, 2008 in the NY area. Ur hair really looks good. Yes, the Silk Elements Heat Protectant Spray is excellent. I bought some last week & luv it!! It really makes the hair lite and silky. Thanks for the great vids.
Your hair texture looks a lot like mine from this video and as much as i wanted aphogee to work for me ut was toi strong for my hair too

Qtee4eva16 3 years ago
it could be a few things,
- if her hair is str8end, its most likely that she has either too much product buildup, or isn't seperating enough hair when flat ironing
- if its curly or nappy, then its probably not well conditioned enough, or has too much product buildup or hair grease. most likely the grease. try a hair oil instead.
kenietha 3 years ago
out of the things u said i think its the grease...ill tell her...thx alot
Qtee4eva16 3 years ago
no problem =) check out my hair regimen video. some ppl think its a bit complicated but maybe she'll pick up some ideas
kenietha 3 years ago
Lol @ "Flippable" u mean, BODY?
Ur sisters hair probably doesn't have that much body bcuz of what she puts IN her hair. Products with petroleum, mineral oil and alcohol can weigh down or stiffen ur hair.
MickeyRenae 3 years ago
Body is a better word...LOL...yeah thx 4 all the advise,it should help her alot (not me because i have braids!)
Qtee4eva16 3 years ago
actually "flippable" was fine. body is when ur hair is thick, flip means it moves
go on and flip them braids then ;p

lol i will!!!!
