  • Very nice sounding, the hammered dulcimer is such a great instrument.

  • Wonderful piece! I can't wait to play like this!

I'm looking into purchasing a hammer dulcimer, and was wondering what the differences are between Dusty Strings and Masterworks. What are you playing in this piece? It's got such a beautiful sound. And, for a beginner, would you recommend starting with a 12/11 config or a 16/15?

  • just wondering are you able to play "the drunkin piper?"

  • Makes me wanna dance!

  • Nice. Just out of interest, could you message me with any information about where to get the music etc for a hammered dulcimer, as I am planning on buying one once I have the cash :D Decided upon it after spending 3-4 days listening to it on here :D

  • sounds great. thanks for sharing.

  • I mean 3 octives

  • There are 23 octives

  • Very nice song. Your Masterworks has a very lovely tone. I dont care for Masterworks that much but yours has a really nice tone.

  • Well You have a Masterworks also. I guess dulcimer sound is a personel preferance.

    Thanks for rating

  • Oh I dont have the masterworks anymore. I was just renting it to see if I liked playing the Hammered Dulcimer. The sustain was way too much for me. I have a Nic Hambas 17/16/4/4 Floating Top Chromatic on order right now and it should be here by June.

  • Yeah I've never seen one in person but now have heard them, Absolutely great sounding

  • Speilbox, I'm new with dulcimer stuff, and I was just wondering how many octaves there are on the Dulcimer you have there.

    Thanks.
